Alex VIBO Care **Q: Can i use it at work when lifting ?** A: Just to be clear, this is not a backbrace. Its a posture corrector that makes you stand up straight. I do not think it's intention is to help you lift items correctly. **Q: For the people who have been using this for awhile, do you notice a difference in your posture when you're not wearing it? like, for the better?** A: I returned mine because it was uncomfortable. What you can't see in the pictures is that the very wide strap is so long that it goes under your armpit as well, at least it did for me (I am petite). If the thinner straps had run under the arms, it would have been great. It was very comfortable otherwise, and I was looking for something I could wear under my clothes. I use a "Shoulders Back" brand posture corrector which works, but you need to wear it over a t-shirt, so not very practical for wearing out in public (it was originally made for horseback riding). And yes, if you find a posture corrector you like, it will train you and your muscles to maintain better posture even when not wearing it. Make sure you keep your front chest wall stretched out too - hunching over shortens those muscles. Either lay vertically on a foam roller for a while each day or hold your arm in a vertical "L," place forearm on the wall next to a door opening, and gently stretch/twist your chest into the air space.
