For starters the mats are over two feet long, way too big for most home microwaves. Just get a regular plastic cover if you want to cover your soup bowl. Its very difficult to clean it cause afterwards it again collects dust and dirt particles. It wont be suitable for plates, cups or any other kitchen utensils as it gets dirty easily.
