The color is a nice violet blue, clearly visible in daylight, and the intensity will be perfect for what I'm using it for! This is a great power range for lighting effects since it won't burn things but is bright enough to be visible (something violet lasers can struggle with). It will definitely look great in fog. The beam will never be as sharp as a red or green laser, but this is an expected trait of blue lasers. That being said, this unit does focus pretty well. Running at 3.3 volts, I haven't noticed it getting hot or had any concerns about running it continuously, but I'll need to test this more.
