Worked perfectly in my wife’s 2016 Ford Edge and absolutely enabled CarPlay that she did not have before. Very easy to install…took about 10 minutes.

I bought this USB hub for my Ford F-150 after Apple CarPlay stopped working, and this ended up being the perfect solution. Installation was extremely easy and required no tools at all—just pop the old one out, plug in the two wiring connectors in the back, and snap the new hub in place. The whole install took about 5 minutes. CarPlay immediately started working again with no issues. If you’re having USB or CarPlay problems in your F-150, this is an easy and affordable fix that works exactly as advertised.

Worked great in my 2016 F150 XLT with the OEM Sync system. I just had to use a USB stick to upgrade the firmware to version 3.0 first (can download it from the Ford website). Apple CarPlay is now up and running on the stock system.

Got a dead one from the start i think. No way to test it and it does not work at all. fuses are good, blue light around it lights but no USB

Take your time and be gentle removing the old unit and it just plugs in and snaps back in easily. It's a little testing of patience to get the old unit out but the payoff is so worth it.
