You could take a zip tie and wrap around it. I just chose to use the old one. They didn't skimp out on the amount of hose they give you. They even included the hose clamp to hold the hose to the hood. That came useful to hold the hose between the nozzles. Nozzles sprayed evenly and covered the windshield. It only took about 5 minutes to install.
