I was introduced to Veil Cosmetics at a special event where I met the owner of the brand and he matched me to my best shade. I immediately fell in love with the Sunset Skin primer and foundation. For everyday use, I use one pump of primer and one pump of foundation as a BB cream. For dressing up, I use 2 pumps of primer first, then top with 1 1/2 pumps of foundation. Both ways, the product stays put all day with no greasiness or shine. My skin feels and looks smooth and overall incredible. I would recommend this product to ANYONE!!!!

This is a perfect foundation for me. Light but good coverage. Not drying at all. I love that it comes in different shades.

Normally I don't like or wear primers. I have tried so many of them and they either make my foundation ball up, cake up, and just generally don't do well (or really do much of anything) with my normal to dry skin. I was in no need to try a new one, but something about Sunset Light (the name maybe?) intrigued me as did a couple of YouTube people using it so I was able to order a sample here to give it a whirl and ended up liking it so much that I came back on here to order the full size but choked when I saw the original price tag of $60, I think? Yikes. I kept stalking Veil for a sale, but one day noticed that the price had been reduced to $45 which was a slight improvement, but then combined with some Amex Points money I had accumulated it brought the price down to half of that, so I ordered this. Guess what? I NOW have a primer that I not only like, but bordering on loving it. This gel-like primer goes on like a dream, absorbs instantly, and hydrates my skin and whatever foundation, cc cream, or bb cream I'm putting on works great with it. It diffuses any imperfections and almost makes my face look like it does when I have my makeup mirror on "evening" mode - you know that soft light one that makes you look 10 jillion times better than "office" or "day"? Well, this primer tends to give me that soft lit-from-within look. So friends, it's a keeper, with a proviso. I would never spend $45 on a primer and don't plan on doing so any time soon - so this will be a repurchase when and if I accumulate more Amex rewards points or if Veil has a sale. Love it.

I Love this product! It is so light when you apply it. Almost like putting nothing on. Amazing! I Love how soft it feels. I liked it so much I told my BFF. Now she ordered it. I'm excited to see how she likes it.

I was looking for something to replace my beloved Miracle Skin Transformer, but this is not it for me. I could get the same luminescent effect just adding a bit of my cheap liquid highlighter to my foundation. I saw no smoothing of pores or fine lines happening — even with a rather generous layer of this product. It did not work well as an underlay beneath any of the three foundations I tried. Made my face flakey, and foundation tough to smooth evenly. The original mineral veil was recommended by a very reputable MUA, so I should have just ordered that. Lesson learned😞

Love this product, it feels nice and refreshing when I apply it. I mix it with the Veil Skin Foundation. The two combined give you a nice even skin tone without feeling like you are wearing heavy make-up!

I found this product to be a bit too much for my skin type. I'm already prone to cystic acne and this gave me significant breakouts.

Makes your foundation lighter and more like a mousse. LOVE IT.

Good primer and does help your skin look and feel better under makeup. I wasn't a big fan of the foundation but the primer works for me.

This product leaves a great smooth finish on skin. Using under foundation.

I’m not a fan of foundation, this product does just enough to smooth out skin tone. Very easy to wear.
