Those whom have traveled to Europe know how uneven the grounds and road can be and how quickly the weather can change. These shoes were my go-to and all I wore since they were so versatile. So I did A LOT of walking in them. Hours and hours on end. Just like any other shoe, it takes some time to break in but once they are, they're pretty comfortable, stay secure, and breathable overall. They have survived all types of uneven grounds, rocky roads, gravel roads, dirt roads on a farm, walking in a city, rainy weather, cold weather, hot and humid weather, bus rides, you name it. Never had any issue and the drizzle mint is a good color. Not clunky or bulky either which is a bonus. And they were easy to pack in my travel cube shoe bag. The picture shown is from Skellig Michael in ireland where you're hiking up over 600+ uneven stairs up a mountain in the middle of nowhere but surrounded by the Atlantic ocean. You could easily fall off of the cliff if you weren't paying attention.
