I got this book for my grandson. We laughed as we read it together. The humor makes the book more interesting.

This book is awesome! if you have a "young" middle schooler, this book is a must. All pertinent topics are covered in a hilarious, practical style. Advice is commonsense and noncontroversial.

The book was a gift for a rising 6th grade boy. It was perfect! One page tidbits/helpful hints/useful information made it easy to understand and not too long so he would lose interest. Very good "do this-don't do that" cartoons and the riddles are actually funny. What a treasure!!

Went through the book and left little notes to my grandson. Hopefully he'll appreciate the book and remember me and my funny comments when I'm gone.

My son has been reading this book since he is going into 6th grade next year. He said that he is learning a lot about how to behave and what not to do.

So good for someone entering middle school! We left it on his night stand and went through a few pages/ topics every night and it sparked such great conversation and ah-ha moments!! My son was playing it cool and acting like he didn’t need to read it or talk with me, but would remind me if we didn’t open it up some nights, so I know he was appreciating it too!!! Such great parent/child activity to talk about and prep for middle school! I tell everyone about it with a child going into middle school!!

I bought this for my 11 year old son who loves reading and will generally enjoy any book. He set this down after 5 pages and said it was boring. An adult writing a story with “duh of course” lessons about life? Not recommended.

My son loved this book and has read it front to back many times and he’s not much of a reader
