**Q: What is the use for strap that attaches to the rear clip? It is the same strap in the 3rd picture.**
A: It is used as a replacement chin strap for the PASGT helmet. The helmet will function without it, and can function with only the metal mounting bracket by unscrewing the front screw of the helmet, then securing the mounting bracket by reinserting the screw.
