Bought 3 of the grey 15 lb weighted blankets. They came well packaged. They were thinner than expected. First night we all slept reasonably well being our legs felt weighted/heavy (followed instructions for those who never slept with a weighted blanket)…totally recommend following the instructions for adjusting to sleeping underneath the blanket. I began having trouble sleeping the second night. My legs and knees began to ache and I eventually took the blanket off. My knees felt much better, which led me to believe it had to do with my artificial knees. I believe the pressure from the blanket was too much for my knees. Now I cannot attest and say that other’s who have had their knees replaced, will have these issues, I just know that for me, the weight on my legs and knees does not work. I returned my blanket with no issues or problems from the company. The other two blankets are very much enjoyed by other family member members. The one family member has found that his restless legs has ceased. Also, he suffers from leg cramps quite often every week. Amazingly, this weighted blanket has actually has stopped his leg cramping, and he sleeps very well! Who would’ve thought a way that blanket would do that! Again, this does not mean that others will not have their restless legs or cramping, stop or ceased to a minimal. I can just attest to the family member and how it has greatly helped him . The third family member has really enjoyed her blanket as well. Loves the blanket! I cannot a test to it being waterproof, nor have I washed the blankets or anything else. I can say that the blanket is soft to the touch and does not slide off the onto the floor. The color is nice and will go with any decor, being grey neutral color.

This blanket is AMAZING!! Got the 15lb Gray, and couldn't be happier! It's very soft, and not too heavy. Surprisingly it doesn't make me hot, but maintains a very comfortable temperature. Doesn't take me long to fall asleep...feels like a cozy hug.

When I opened the package, the blanket was folded into a cube shape and seemed very heavy. I couldn’t imagine sleeping under it. I ordered the 15 lb version as it was closest to the weight recommended for my size. Once I unfolded it and spread it out, I was still convinced it would be much too heavy. The instructions that came with the blanket said it would be helpful to start out by placing the blanket over only part of the body. I tried that and realized it didn’t really feel all that heavy, so went ahead and adjusted it so it covered all of me. This is a magical blanket! From the first night I was able to fall asleep quickly and stay asleep unless I needed to shift position. I ditched all my sleep aid supplements and have already saved so much by not buying them, the blanket has more than paid for itself. I don’t know how this works, I’m just so glad it does.

This thing is heavy! I was just thinking of like a 15lb dumbbell but when it’s spread across a blanket it has a weird way of feeling heavier. It’s really good quality though and if you want a blanket that will help you stay still at night then go no further. I would say the only gripe I have is that it’s not a very cozy blanket which is a little to be expected. I would just suggest using a thinner blanket underneath this one.

I absolutely LOVE this blanket. I can be cool when it's needed, and if I want to warm up, I just pull a fuzzy blanket up under it. People talk about the weight, I went for a 20 lb weight which seems to feel right for me. I have no issues rolling over or pulling it up. It's not too thick, it's very well crafted, and it's soft to the touch, no need for anything between you and the blanket to keep away the cooling properties. I have this amazing little nest going in my bed and sleep quite well with it.

Update 9/4/18: Because I love this blanket so much, and did feel I could use more weight, I ordered a 2nd blanket less than two weeks later. The new one is the same excellent quality, but arrived in a different shade of gray, so I've posted a picture so you can see the difference (and that the squares are 6" as stated). The 1st one was a neutral to slightly warm mid-tone gray, the 2nd one is a more blue toned gray (I'm sorry I couldn't capture the exact colors, but you can see the difference). Fortunately I am using them on top of each other, but if I had wanted to use them side by side I would have been disappointed. I'm bringing this up because if you will be using them side by side, I recommend buying them both at the same time since the fabric may come from different dye lots. I do love the extra weight, and don't find the 30lbs to be too heavy for me, but it definitely makes it warmer, so I have to leave the fan on or turn down the thermostat to stay comfortable in the summer. It will be great for winter! Original Review: I have always loved the feeling of heavy blankets and comforters piled on top of me, but it's too hot in the summer to do that. I was thrilled to find that a weighted blanket was actually "a thing", and I can use it in the summer without getting too warm! After looking at many weighted blankets, I chose this one for the great reviews on the quality, the price, and that it had glass beads instead of plastic for the weight. I originally wanted a 20lb blanket, but due to the price difference, and the fact that I didn't even know if I would like it, and with the idea I could add another blanket for additional weight in the future, I went with the 48"x72" 15lb. It feels heavy when you handle it, but it is not at all uncomfortable to sleep under. In fact, I think I am sleeping much better, since I often wake up in the middle of the night and can't fall back to sleep, and that hasn't happened since I started using this blanket about a week ago. The blanket itself is a super soft cotton, and the beads make no noise at all. The weight seems to be evenly distributed and the quality is excellent. It comes in a very nice box that would be a lovely presentation if you are giving this blanket as a gift. At this point the only con I can see is that it must be dry cleaned, but since I use it on top of a sheet, that shouldn't be a problem. All in all this blanket has been one of the best purchases I have ever made!

The picture does not due this blanket any justice! I ordered the 20lb queen size magnolia blanket, and it’s beautiful, soft and feels so good when it’s on you, instant relaxation, takes away the anxiety. I can’t say enough good things about it, it’s definitely worth it 💯

I’ve heard about these forever but had little to no interest in them - I love my bed, love my duvet…wasn’t looking to change my game. After learning these were great in reducing anxiety by offering the feeling of being swaddled - I thought I’d give it a go. First sleep - was dead asleep and have been ever since! The weight stops my from toss & turning and then prematurely waking up. I’ve joined the cult and haven’t shut up about w friends & family since.

Unfortunately for us it didn't work or help our son sleep. We might try again as ir wasn't cheap and don't want to have it just sit around. Shipping and price were good though.

Not sure if there was manufacturing issues but there were a number of problems right out of the box, sent it back, will update if newer one passes inspection

If a person likes sleeping with a duvet already, they are going to love a weighted blanket. However, if being hot is a terrible thing, avoid all weighted blankets. Try as I might, even partially covered by the weighted blanket I was a raging furnace. I normally just sleep with a sheet with a thin blanket nearby in case I get the chills. I had a 5 year old and a 10 year old try it. Both ended up stopping using it due to heat issues. My 5 year old girl was able to use it the longest but only during the winter when she was sleeping in the room of which we think the insulation has compressed within the walls (the room is typically 17-19C, 63-67F). Other than that room, our house is kept at a consistent 20.5 C to 21.5 C (69F-71F). This specific product is very well made. I'm impressed! No issues I can speak of.
