Review: well explained and informative - Enjoyed this book and felt the content was excellent, some technical stuff but not enough to put me off reading. The book is amusing and down to earth, even the occasion sweary bits add to the down to earth and straight forward manner in which the book is written. What comes across loud and clear is her utter disgust with the food industry producing Frankenstein foods on an ever increasing basis, her anger at the proliferation of additives in these food designed to make you eat more and more is palpable. Review: Excellent support to fast track your journey to feeling physically wonderful. - This is a great book, written by a fearless advocate and warrior for the kinds of healthy diets that were closer to our ancestors than the rubbish that's being cynically marketed as being real 'food', today. This book provides information about how and why the body processes specific foods, alongside info about the best foods to eat. In turn, the outcomes help us feel the worthiness and self love to stay on track. Sugar really is the biggest baddie, with new research showing that it's more addictive than crack cocaine and heroin, according to Nasha Winters and Jesse Higgins book, The Metabolic Approach to Cancer and other resources. Davinia's company, Willpowders, provides high quality, nourishing supportive supplement foods that help rid our bodies of the terrible mainstream westernised diets we are subjected to nowadays. There's a changing in the tides now. People are waking up to realising there's so much more potential and possibility in life than previously realised. Radiantly happy, energetic body, radiantly happy, energetic mind.

Hack your hormones - 🤯
Been struggling for a long time with sleep, energy levels, focus, just life in general and I was recommended this book by a friend when we’ve been sharing all our peri-menopause woes! This book has a number of helpful tips and recommendations some are easy to implement others need a bit more thought and research to make work for me, not everything will work for all! One of the recommendations is about getting outside as soon as you can to help with your circadian rhythm, over the last 6 weeks I’ve been consistently coming out in the morning with a cup of tea and getting that early light, even in the rain I put a coat on over my PJs to get some light and my sleep pattern has massively improved. I’ve recommend this book to others - I wish I’d known about some of this stuff years ago.

No Nonsense!
Another great book from Davinia! She really gets to the heart of the issues so many of us face and assume we’re stuck with. The chapter on rage especially struck a chord and was explained so well in Davinia’s usual down to earth manner. She has done the legwork on this issue and is so enthusiastic in showing us that we don’t need to suffer in silence and we can use our bodies to work for us not against us with the advice she gives. Well done Davinia! x

Not for me - sent it back
Being post menopausal I'm interested in anything about hormones, especially if a natural alternative can ease me off HRT. This book only briefly discusses the subject - the author is more concerned with monthly cycles (a distant memory for me!) I'm sure there will be a book produced by her when she hits the menopause. I only really skimmed through this book & it does seem to be a thinly disguised advocate for the ketogenic diet which I'm sure works for some but holds no interest to me. It's all about the exotic supplements too by the looks of things.... The book appears to be written in a rapidly paced "sound bite" style, a bit like someone talking too fast at you which was another turn off for me. But this is all personal preferences, I'm sure others will find it useful.
