Chezmoi Collection 7-Piece Quilted Patchwork Comforter Set (King, Burgundy/Brown/Black)

I ordered this comforter set before I read the reviews. Dumb I know. But it’s a comforter so yea. What was there to read right? Well I read some after I had placed the order. To say I wanted to cancel my order was an understatement. It’s for that reason I felt compelled to write a review which normally I just don’t have time for. This comforter set is beautiful. It’s better than I would have expected for $60. Honestly I expected it to be similar to what I already had and was replacing. It’s Better than that. The colors are as shown the material is soft and the craftsmanship is what you would expect for less than $10 a piece. No bed bugs. It freaked me out and I lost some sleep fretting BBC about it. I opened it in the garage for a thorough inspection and washed it first. Came out gorgeous. No wrinkles no bunching. I couldn’t be happier with it. I realize the reviews will deter a lot of people but I hope this helps to change their minds. I feel certain there was a malicious reason people wrote those reviews. My set is exactly what I wanted and it’s gorgeous! Pictures to follow. I ordered a queen for a twin purposely for those wondering about the fit. Personal preference.

This package was packed tight and everything looked a little wrinkled. No big deal, I placed them in the dryer for about ten minutes and they came out perfect. I'm very pleased with the quality, the colors, the texture and the weight. And the price was very reasonable, particularly compared to many of the local stores in my area. I recommend them and will continue to buy from them in the future.

Beautiful colors, nice heavy weight, warm, and fairly high quality. The "quilted" pattern is merely melted dots of fabric to emulate true quilting. There are several small ovals stitched to keep the batting in place, but there is no real quilting on the whole comforter. I had a section of the back fabric tear in the dryer on the second wash - I'm not sure if it got caught in the door and twisted until it tore, or if it was spontaneous, but it ended up with three 14-20" jagged tears on one corner. I was able to hand-stitch it together so it's still usable, and it's on the back, so you can't see it when it's on the bed, but it will make me a little cautious about washing it as often as I'd like.

I did a pretty extensive amount of searching to find a comforter that suited our style, but wasn't overly expensive. I was a little apprehensive when I purchased this king comforter set for a mere $67 when most king comforter sets are over $100, but I liked the way it looked online. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived though and we put it on the bed. What you see in the picture is what you get (minus the bed and frame of course)! The decorative pillows may be my favorite thing you receive. On top of the pillows looking nice, they are actually comfortable. The neck roll pillow is nice to use when you are just laying in bed and watching tv. My 2 year old loves also loves me chasing him around with that pillow and bopping him on the head. I couldn't be happier with this set, you get a lot of bang for your buck!

The comforter is the exact color as the picture. I really like that it is not bulky thick, especially since it is very hot this summer! Washing it was easy, it fit just right in the washing machine and dryer. What I like mostly about it was the decor pillows that came with it and of course the quality of the material. I highly recommend this set if you like maroon/brown colors!

I don't like the contrast circle stitching others are talking about. After reading reviews, I thought the comforter was going to be thin. It is medium, I would say. I really like how vibrant the black, white and burgundy are. The brown is on the off taupe but it is really brown. I really like the colors overall. I have received compliments. For the price it is somewhat comparable to what you get. Update: This comforter is a nice price but it is very cheaply made. DO NOT IRON on it without something between your garment and the comforter. The comforter literally melts if the iron touches just right. It looks nice but this set is clearly not a good quality at all.

I read the reviews on this set. I wonder how true some really were. There were NO loose threads, no holes, zero wrong with it! I washed all 7 pcs and dried them in the dryer. They ALL washed and dried beautifully!!! It's gorgeous and super soft! WELL worth the money!
