Easy to use, easy to clean, great little blender for smoothies, spaghetti sauce, other chunky sauces you want to puree. We mostly use it for smoothies. Blueberry. Frozen banana, flax or chia seed, oats, protein powder, colostrum powder, collagen powder, matcha, maca or mesquite, etc. My only complaint is it's small. I bought it to replace my ninja bullet that broke. To hold me over til I get another ninja, this one is great. Just make two if you want to fill a tall cup with smoothie. I wash it out by first rinsing, then add water and a bit of soap to blend. Any residue comes right off. It's not too loud typical blender noise. There's no button to press. You just have to press the cup down into the base to blend. You can't lock it in place by twisting either. You just have to press it down the whole time to make it go. It comes with 2 taller cups and 1 smaller cup. If I'm really hungry I'll make 2 tall cups of smoothie. I don't recommend you use the lid that has the latch for your own smoothie sipping. It'll probably spill as the latch isn't very strong. But you could store spaghetti sauce or other sauce in it with that lid. It comes with a lot of lids.

my doc recommended i get some veggies in my diet by hiding them in smoothies. i purchased one of these and am so pleased with it - i have a fruit and spinach smoothie every day now - that's 100% more veggies that i ate before! easy to use and clean, dependable, love the suction cups to hold it in place. i bought a larger cup b/c i love drinking them so much! a bit loud but you're only using it for a few seconds. very powerful.

I waited after using this blender about a dozen times before reviewing it and I can now say that it is *SO* worth it. I've made a bunch of smoothies and it's never failed to get the job done. You'd be surprised how many blenders can't handle blending frozen fruit or even small ice cubes, but this one WORKS. Of course, it's not one of those $300 ones that can turn a brick of ice into snowflakes but it is good enough for me, especially for the price. There are occasionally a small chunk or two of frozen fruit but it's not too terrible at all. I also love that it's both easy to use and to clean! I get some people want fancy blenders that can do a dozen different things but the simplicity of this is awesome. No leaking, no spills, no extra and unnecessary buttons- just twist the lid on and push. Clean up is a breeze especially with the brush that's included.

This is an awesome little blender that is quick and very easy to use, and clean. It comes with lots of great accessories including 3 blender jars. The 2 larger jars hold approximately 10 oz to 12 oz (to fill line), depending on your contents (small chop please). The 3rd and smallest blender jar holds approximately 8+ oz (to fill line), again depending on your contents. There is no "On & Off" switch or buttons, no speed or texture control feature--- just push down lightly on the blender jar for a few seconds, or pulse as needed. You get a silky smooth smoothy, chunky or smooth veggies, or coffee beans quickly ground to your personal taste. This little machine works very well with less, and it's relatively quiet and doesn't shake or "do a little dance" when operating. Now for the cons: (1) I'm old school so I'm missing the control buttons, even though I don't really need them with this nifty little personal blender. (2) I wish that the capacity of the 2 larger blender jars were really 18.6 oz, as advertised. Let's see how long this nifty little no brand name blender by KOIOS lasts. Right now I'm having a great time making some quick and very delicious smoothies. Based on my use of this blender, it's price and the included accessories I recommend this blender. UPDATE: May 31, 2024 - My little blender worked very well for almost 2 years, August 22, 2022 until May 31, 2024. Late last night as I was attempting to make a banana smoothy with a few ice cubes, plastic around the blender blades suddenly started to crumble, bit by bit as the blades rotated. I'm now left with 1 blending blade attachment; the flat blade top that is usually used to grind nuts, spice, coffee, etc. I guess I'm back in the market for another personal blender. This one worked very well until it didn't. ~The End~

I posted the initial review here about 2 weeks ago. Since then, I have been in contact with the service department at Koios. It took a series of about 10 emails back and forth. Each time they requested more information. But the good news is that today, the replacement base arrived. ... AND, it works. Yay! I really do love this blender. I take it with us when we travel. For health reasons, I make a shake every morning and not everywhere that we have stayed has a blender. It's small, yet powerful. It comes with 3 containters to blend in. And it has flip-top screw on lids for drinking on the go. We were on a trip when the first one died. I did have to go buy a different brand at Target because I needed it like, right now. The one from Target is really too big for traveling. So, I am thrilled that I have this new Koios blender for when I am traveling again. The service department went by the book and I had to send them several videos to prove that it didn't work. They were professional, courteous, and helpful. This is the OLD review: Like several others here, I have used this lightly and mostly only when I travel to blend my morning shake. Today, on a trip, it stopped working. Banana, fiber, juice, and yogurt. Nothing heavy. In 3 days, it will be a year since I purchased. Very disappointed.

Would not buy again. After about six months I had to replace the blades. The plastic on the bottom wears away over time. A simple misalignment when pressing down could strip away everything. After about twelve months I had to toss it out completely.
