Caddytek CaddyLite Compact Semi-Auto Folding and Unfolding Golf Push Cart

Only used once so far but I love it. Very easy to fold and unfold. Very sturdily made - looks like it will outlast me?! Looks great. After using a 2-wheel pull trolley for so many years, I wish I'd switched sooner. Everything is now at hand, less effort, and no clipping my heels on the wheels. Obviously, that goes for all push trolleys, however, this appear more robust than most. Big 11" wheels make for a smooth ride. Folds and unfolds in an instant and, when folded, is very compact indeed. For something described as "lite" it's quite heavy (18lbs) but, as you only pick it up in and out of the boot of the car it's academic, (and personally I find the weight reassuring). The axel width seems massive?! This makes the trolley very stable, however, I'm wondering whether I'll come across some posts or gateways on the course through which it may not fit? I have no experience of other push trollies so maybe they're all this good, however, I'm extremely pleased with my purchase.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Excellent golf caddy. Very reasonable price. Very sturdy and fabulous quality. Easy to put up and fold down and fits in the car without difficulty. Not too heavy to lift. Golf bag fits on well would fit trolley bag or carry bag. Lots of bits for accessories such as umbrella and phone etc. Highly recommend.

Bit of technique required for opening and closing but very good trolley

Great trolley. Takes a few attempts to Get used to the unfolding aspect, but took it out for my first round with it and was game changing! Easy to push and navigate around the course. Only area it lets itself down is the storage area. My friend has the same one and recommended not to store golf balls in it and could come loose when putting in back of the car and sends golf balls flying everywhere. Card holder placement could be better as it interferes with the pencil holder. But I haven’t been using it to count my score (yet). Drinks holder and umbrella holder both good. Brake also useful. The weight of it is perfect when folded up into the back of the car.

As you tell from the title, I’m really happy with this trolley. I just started playing golf again after a twenty year break and quickly realized that the trolleys that I associated with old men were actually a good thing to have (wisdom really does come with age!) After some research, I settled on this. Open the box, no assembly required (other than attaching the drink holder and umbrella holder). It’s really compact compared to some of the other trolleys on the market. I’d say it’s similar in size to the (significantly more expensive) Bag Boy Nitron when folded. Opening is simple - push the grey handle and lift. Then lift the lever at the side of the handle to raise it to the desired height. Lock the handle in place and the rest of the frame will lock as well. The securing straps are robust and easy to adjust. The upper bag clamp has cut outs to ensure stand bags sit securely in place. Collapsing is just as easy. Lift the grey lever, fold the handle back down and secure it then push (I recommend keeping one hand on the handle grip when doing this for the first time). Once the grey handle clicks back in place- it’s done! Super simple.

Used it for a little over a month and love the push cart. Price was good, it’s easy to operate, lots of features like phone holder and umbrella, collapses and expands easily, takes up very little space when folded down. Would buy again but hope I don’t need to. Seems like it should last a while.

Absolutely love this caddy. Only negative I can possibly think of is the lack of a proper score card holder. All else is very nice indeed and has taken things that used to be stored in my bag and it is on this caddy now. Especially love the little mesh bag below the handle and the compartment to store valuables. Although the description mentions a magnetic steel pad for towels or rangefinders, the only magnetic bit I could find I use for a ball marker on the green. The official video mentions the elastic in that area as the holder for a rangefinder or phone.
