It's not to hard to put together, but it's mostly made out of particleboard and soft plastics so be careful not to over tighten things. It photographs very well, but don't let that fool you its not as good quality as it looks. The drawer slide hardware for the bottom drawer completely fell apart during installation, spraying ball bearings all over the floor. The seller offered to fix it by sending us new slides, in 25 days. Yes, leave your nightstand in pieces in the middle of the floor for 25 days is the solution. We bought third party slides and completed the unit, but even the other drawer doesn't pop out when you push it in, the pop out action only works occasionally. One of the light colors in the LED strip flickers so even that's not right. Don't buy this, I know it looks cool, and we bought it for my son's room because he wanted a "cool gamer's room", but get something else. This is flimsy garbage with bad hardware.
