Or do they run small/big?** A: They run true to size. **Q: Some of the pictures people posted with he reviews said the bottoms were coming unglued, has anyone recently purchased these and had that?** A: These are nice and warm, comfortable. To date no issues with the bottoms coming unglued but haven't worn them yet this winter. Snow tomorrow so will have them on'!! **Q: What is the difference between the “hickory” and “hickory (suede)” ones? it says “100% suede” on all of them.** A: I'm not really sure why that would be stated, as such. That style is suede only, no matter the color. **Q: strong sole?** A: I have a pair of these and a pair of UGGs in a similar type of boot. I will stay that I have noticed that the soles on the Bearpawas are much stronger and they last longer. I wear mine every day to and from school as well as at school during recess. I also wear them for snow shoveling (I am in South Dakota an we get a ton of it), as well as just casual wear here and there. After about a year they start wearing for the way that you are walking but that is going to happen with any boot. I would purchase these again and again and I have! We just got new carpet and are now a shoes-off home so I live in socks - But sometimes I need to pop out to the grocery store or to the office to drop papers off, and I want a slip-on shoe that is warm.Enter, Bearpaw boots. Y'all, these are the boots you want and need in your life. They are fluffy. They are warm. I'm generally an 8.5-9 so I ordered a 9 and the fit is excellent - enough room for a thinner or slightly thicker (athletic) sock. If you want them to be able to fit a Smart-wool sock or something even warmer if you live in the Great Frigid North, order large for sure. These were less expensive than the classic brand that originally made this style famous so I took a shot- I'm a Bearpaw fan for life. I'll definitely be shopping their other shoes - the boxing, the branding, and the comfort all have me sold.All this to say - had a tough year? People ask me if they are the very expensive brand we know and I get to proudly say, "No, they're Bear Paws! I love them!"Highly recommend. I live in WA. It really rains in WA. A lot. I also live in a rather rural area, so just to keep them in good condition from door to vehicle or on a short walk, I would invest in a stain and water resistance spray. You can get a good one online or at a drugstore. I picked one up for about 7$ on a needed drugstore run. It is worth it.These are cute, comfy and fun. I also find that this brand is pretty slip resistant, but that is just my opinion. And I live in Michigan, so they’ve seen the elements (but not a whole lot of heavy snow, these are not snow boots).I originally got these because I didn’t want to spend the money on Ugg’s. These Bearpaw served me far beyond what I thought they would and at a fraction of the cost! And right now, they’re half the price that I paid for them back in 2015?!? Buy these boots.
