Energy Boost Drink Mix

I'm 12 weeks pregnant and needed my 3 pm boost of energy at work. I found these with decent reviews and thought I'd give them a try. I've had them the past 2 days and while I don't feel wired or super energized, I feel alert and able to finish out the workday! Some people say it has a metal or fishy taste, but I don't get that at all. I add it to a 16oz bottle of water and shake it well. It is a bit tart, but nothing unbearable. It tastes like a watermelon jolly rancher to me! It's a safe alternative for energy while pregnant, and it's a win for me! The price is a bit of a bummer, but I only drink it when I need the boost, so it'll last me a while.

So this product is amazing! I almost didn't buy it because of some reviews indicating a fishy smell but I'm so happy I did. There is no smell. The watermelon flavor isn't overbearing and it definitely helps with energy. I took it around 2pm to make it through the workday and it worked!! My only suggestion is if you're first trying this product, take it early enough in the day to where it won't disrupt your sleep if the effects linger too long. I took it at 2pm, went to bed at 9pm, and don't feel like I got restful slept until I came back to bed after having to get up and pee at 1:30am.

I really wanted to like this but I just don’t. If you don’t normally like the flavor of watermelon or strawberry, this is not the product for you. Packaging is beautiful. As soon as you open a packet it automatically smells like strawberry which is overwhelming if you don’t like that smell. It does start to smell like watermelon once you start mixing it but there’s always a strawberry smell to it which affects the flavor. It’s sour. I could only force sip about half of the serving before I had to call it quits. I don’t feel nausea due to pregnancy this morning since drinking it but I have had the urge to puke it up because of how much I hate the flavor and smell (I HATE strawberries). I read people saying it taste like a jolly rancher, that is a lie. It definitely does NOT taste like a jolly rancher. I am going to try this again but mix it will lemonade instead of water to try to improve the flavor. I really wished they would have made this specific product in other flavors though because I have no energy in the day starting from when I wake up and I really need that boost so I can keep up with my prenatal workouts and actually be able to do things in the day. I have two other kids I have to take care of and I really needed that energy to help me out. It’s worth a shot if those smells and flavors don’t bother you but after only drinking half, I have no nausea but I also haven’t gained any energy..

Need something besides caffeine to give me an afternoon boost so I don’t just sit half asleep on the couch. Pregnancy fatigue. This product tastes great. I will say, there is some ingredient that gives it the most slight fishy taste or smell. They need to reconsider this for pregnant women, whose sense of smell is heightened. It’s not enough to make it taste bad - but the weird smell lingers on my metal thermos cups even after I wash it with soap. I have to run through to dishwasher to get that smell out. Other than that this stuff is great.

I was hoping I found something that would give me boost of energy other than coffee but this did nothing for me. I see reviews where some say it gave them energy so maybe it’s just a person to person thing. And the taste is ok.

I was a caffeine gal before pregnancy, and with my first trimester and a ton of responsibilities I always had low energy.. I fell into depression but did not like the low dose meds they gave me . As I felt like it was draining me more !! Ran across this product took a chance and omg love love love it !! I would advise not to drink late at night as either you will go to sleep or you will not sleep at all.. lol, I’ve had both experiences! However I like to drink in between 12-3pm before my kids get out of school and it gives me the energy I need to do pick ups, homework, cook dinner and some light house work it also helps with my creativity.. it does smell like strawberries and tastes like a sour watermelon jolly rancher, I usually put in a little over a half bottle of 16.9 fl of water, and just drink in gulps not for the taste but for results .. with anything. It depends on your body and of course with pregnancy everything is intense .. I drink once a day mid day and especially when I have things I need to do .. I usually take on a slight empty stomach or just before a meal..! Definitely will purchase again as it works great for me !

No energy boost felt. After several days of taking it all it gave me was a headache so I drank more water but it did not help and did not go away after days. The taste is tolerable, can be too sweet if you don't add enough water. I did a whole bottle of water. I'm not getting that fishy taste people are saying.

Exactly what I needed during and after my pregnancy !
