I really like this case because it offers protection for my camera without all the ‘cumbersome’ stuff of bigger cases. I was glad to find it on Amazon when it was priced higher at another site with an additional charge for shipping. I recommend it without reservation.

Camera case fits perfectly on my Nikon D5600 and besides giving more protection to the camera, the dark brown gave it a retro look which I personally like. There is no restriction to the battery compartment. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ works great for me

I received this half case and neck strap and was immediately impressed by the quality of leather and stitching. it's not top grain (maybe full grain) leather but its soft yet firm and doesn't scratch easily. should develop nice patina over time. as far as fit, there is a noticeable gap around the protruding section where you grip the camera but I don't find it unusable, or even annoying. I noticed that I just rest my middle finger in the open space, last 2 fingers on the leather, and index on the shutter. The only issue Ive noticed is more of a use case that manufacturer is. When my tripod mount is affixed, I find that the flip out screen on the Nikon d5600 is scrubbing while closing or opening and that sometimes causes the screen to scrub against the rubber eyepiece. solution I used was to place a washer between the camera and case screw mount to add just enough clearance so the lens closes without scrubbing the leather but still rubs the eyepiece. as long as im careful, it doesn't scrub there. overall, im absolutely impressed and would purchase again.
