It’s made for people that are doing yoga, gymnastics, etc where a softer mat would not work with that.I bought to do physical therapy exercises where that’s not so important. It’s better than laying on a bare floor though that’s for sure and thicker than the majority of ones that I looked at that were just much too thin.As wide as this one is it’s a little hard for me to fold it up.
