Is the fluid head removeable to attach onto something like a slider or other rigs?

Unfortunately no. When the head detaches from the handle the screw remains on the bottom of the head. I had to buy a small manfrotto head to put on my slider.

Will this tripod work with my canon vixia hf g20 and my canon eos 70d? lastly is this a good tripod for the money?

Yes it should work with both its should fit the standard tripod screw 1/4-20 and yes it comes new and I don't use it as much as I though I would but so far it is a very good investment on my part hope this helps you

What it the overall height?

Maximum height is about 63 inches with all legs pulled out.

Will the legs work with a Manfrotto 701HDV Head?

The place where the magnus head attaches to the legs is not flat, its a concave surface where the head sits. So it wouldn't work. :P
