This BBDINO Light Flesh Tone Silicone Pigment is a good option for artists and crafters who work with silicone or resin and need realistic skin tones. I used this pigment while creating silicone doll parts and small molded pieces. The color mixes smoothly into the silicone without streaking, and it only takes a very small amount to achieve an even, natural-looking tone. The finished result cured properly and retained the color well after setting. One thing to note is that the pigment is highly concentrated, so it’s best to start with just a drop and build slowly to avoid going too dark. Overall, this pigment performs well for detailed silicone work and is especially useful for anyone making lifelike or skin-tone projects.

All I can say is a lot depends on technique, accuracy in measure, and repeatability of both. I found this to be actually a cost effective colorant for clear silicone, and one which can be varied for translucency by experiment with small batches to get your desired ratio. A little of this does go a long way indeed. I personally do not like the pump dispenser, but can make it work by applying to a flat surface then scraping upo the amount needed with mixing spatula. Measure part B silicone, mix in color completely, then add equal amount of part A silicone. Mix well and finish as appropriate to your needs (degas, pour, brush on, etc.) for excellent results. Again please note: a little goes a long way! Avoid ultimate waste by careful and documenmted experiments, you won't regret it in the end. Also note that I use this with a totally different brand of platinum cure silicone. Should work well with all on the market. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I wish this colorant was a little less viscous, that is why I did not give it 5 stars. The pump bottles they come in make it easy to achieve the desired amount of the colorant. DO NOT GET IT ON YOUR CLOTHES. It washes off skin with soap and water, which is important because some do not. I also appreciate the 2 custom colors, blood (gross i know, but only fisherman get it lol) and salmon pink. Those two help achieve green pumpkin and other assorted colors that have an orange like tint to them.

It seems like some of the colors need shaking to mix up some separation but it is so thick it doesn't mix by shaking. However, what I've used of all the colors looks good to me. The colors mix well, are easy to dispenser and it tints dragon skin and ecoflex well for what I'm doing. I'm not a professional, however, and haven't tried any of silicone pigments, but my first experience with these is good. I have no reason not to buy these again when I need more.

Omg this paint is amazing. I’m painting a silicone doll AA skin tone and this paint is so pigmented. I’m very pleased.

Make sure you really mix it up good…and then mix for another 10 minutes lol. So this stuff does a great job of tinting your silicone and making it a nice opaque white for a base color or as white alone, however, even after mixing for 10-15 minutes, I still tend to find little solid white bubbles just below the surface of some of my pours (you can’t tell until you pull the part), then, if popped, can leak the white paste pigment onto the surface of the part. Still, it’s less trouble than dealing with powdered pigment clumps.

The colors are great and blend well with the BBDino soft silicone.
