With a 2-gallon capacity, adjustable weight mechanism, and durable steel construction, this feeder ensures a seamless and enjoyable birdwatching experience. ## Description The Absolute® II Squirrel Resistant feeder is perfect for the bird enthusiast. This attractive, double-sided feeder will attract a wide array of birds to your yard, with a locking top and metal spring-activated perches that work together to keep squirrels away. This rugged, all-metal squirrel-proof feeder has two counter balance perches adjustable to three positions to allow light, medium or heavy birds on the perch. The wrong bird or squirrel closes access to seed. Top locks down securely preventing squirrel access and when a squirrel steps onto the perch, a metal shield immediately covers the seed tray, shutting off the seed supply.Holding up to 12 lbs of birds favorite mixed seed, sunflower seeds, peanut halves or safflower, this large capacity feeder requires less frequent filling. Stop birds from shoveling food out with the no waste seed saver baffle. Durable, chew-resistant green powder coated steel body with a zinc-plated steel hanger and black powder coated pole. Simply unlatch the squirrel resistant roof and lift for easy filling and cleaning, while seed level indicator window shows when feeder is empty. The overhanging roof and hopper keeps the seed dry and protected from the elements and the all- steel body ensures it will withstand all types of weather and unwanted critters in your backyard for many seasons. What happens if multiple birds try to feed at one time? Will total weight activate this?** A: yes it will ! 7+ sparrows activate the shutterPeter **Q: what diameter pole does it use? 1"?** A: Yes , pole provided with feeder is one inch in diameter. ( 4 slip joint sections) . **Q: Is a replacement perch available? The rest of the feeder is intact.** A: If the perch is welded in (like on the newer models); the answer is no. However, my older feeder models had a wooden perch and this can be replaced by purchasing the right sized dowel at any Home Depot or Lowes. **Q: Could it be mounted on a 4"x4" post?** A: Yes. I attached a threaded iron pipe flange (round) that accepted a 1" threaded pipe. I secured the bottom of the flange with four screws to the top of the 4"x4" post. I then attached a threaded 1" pipe stub threaded at both ends. You can get these parts at the local Home Depot. I screwed in one end of my pipe stub into the flange and greased it to prevent rust. I attached the bird feeder mount to the feeder with the attached hardware (pole mount) and simply slid the pole mount onto the top of the pipe stub. The bird feeder mounted sturdily since the pipe stub was 1" and the pole is designed to mount on a 1" pole. ## Frequently Bought Together - Woodlink Absolute II Squirrel Resistant Bird Feeder Model 7536, 12 lbs, Model:301045 - Heritage Farms Universal Pole Mounting System Model 75860,Gray --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.id/products/4341647-woodlink-absolute-ii-squirrel-resistant-bird-feeder-model-7536-12](https://www.desertcart.id/products/4341647-woodlink-absolute-ii-squirrel-resistant-bird-feeder-model-7536-12) --- *Product available on Desertcart Indonesia* *Store origin: ID* *Last updated: 2026-11-08*
