Does not work.**UPDATE**
Printer used to work wonderfully, now switching to this cable it no longer works. **UPDATE** I had my husband investigate why the printer stopped working and it turns out I had the cord plugged into the wrong port. Cord works wonderfully, a little shorter than I expected.

Perfect replacment for mom's printer/scanner
My mom needed a new printer cable for her second printer, which is a MFP (scanner). Used the original cable for the new HP and this cable for her old printer. Hooked up and no issues.

Printer cable arrived smelling like it had been soaked in strong perfume or cologne. The smell lingered in our house after repackaging the item for return. Two family members had an allergic reaction. Extremely poor quality control. Was unable to try the product due to the smell. To be clear, it was not a chemical/manufacturing type smell, it was clearly perfume or cologne.
