It's still in our living room. It's never broke or tipped over. I have not been able to get apart. We are moving and can't take it with us but the top square does unscrew and pops off. So now it fits out our regular sized front door and we are going to give it our friends kids. If I can give the product more stars I would. Second Edit. I'm upgrading from 3 to 5 stars I've had this for 3 months and the boys still play with it all day long. It helps keep my rowdy toddlers from climbing on everything else in the house. I highly recommend one of these. Especially for indoor use. (Edit: I'm upgrading 1 star to 3 stars. I have a 3yr who has been playing on this thing nonstop the past week. The top part is a little wobbly but after letting him go crazy on it. I'm pretty sure it's not going come apart. I'd like to have given it a 5 star rating, but I can't take it apart, my thumbs still hurt from putting it together a week ago. If I move I'll probably have to cut it to pieces, but I would buy it again and suffer through putting it together.) I got this so I can easily put it up tare it down. I am pretty sure that I got defective parts. The button thing that click on to the poles are so hard to push. If you want to take this apart. Don't buy this. If you do buy my advice is to check every joint before you start. If they don't push down. Return this item. Because once you have a few pieces together that are extremely difficult to push down they are not coming off and you'll never get it to fit back in the box. Anyway I got it all together in about 2-3 hours. Now I have finished I'm very upset that the top part doesn't feel very sturdy. 4 screws go into the top part and it is still wobbly. If I could return it. I would. But I'm going to try to salvage it by removing the top square. The rest seems sturdy.

**Q: Is it possible to use this indoors? I need something for my 4yo climber when it's too cold to stay outside.**
A: Ours has never been outside! We have it in our basement, and works great for climbing as well as making tents.

**Q: I purchased this tower thinking it could be used indoor(carpet). Instructions say it needs to be outdoor and anchored. Would it be ok on the carpet?**
A: I didn't anchored my tower which is outside in the garden. My 3years old plays on it like a monkey and it never even lifted. So i would think it would be fine on the carpet. I would definitly use it indoor.

A: disassembly tool is VERY inadequate.. instructions say it can be used twice,.. there are about 200 connections on this thing... !@#!@#!@# bic pen does not work you have to have 15 hands to do it right...

Third edit, we've had this about 2.5 years. My kids are 5 and 3 now and there's rarely a day that they're not climbing on it. It's still in our living room. It's never broke or tipped over. I have not been able to get apart. We are moving and can't take it with us but the top square does unscrew and pops off. I sent this to my Grandkids for Christmas in Alberta and I live in Toronto. The kids absolutely love it! They didn't want to wait so they put it together in the basement until it gets warmer outside to play on. It's strong and durable but takes a little time to put together, after all would you want to put your kids on something that assembles in minutes? The ages are 4,3 and 1-1/2. Of course the 1 1/2 just hangs with help but has a ball! The only injury was my Grandson accidently raising is foot up and hitting my Granddaughter in the head. Mom and Dad make rules now. Their Mom says "Without a doubt one of the best gifts the kids ever received" They get hours of fun on it and they never get bored of it.
