It's Fiber. Treat it right and it works.
Cables that are tested to OM3 should all work well. This is no exception. The cable is at least as good as others I have used over my years working in network infrastructure. With the prices where they are, there is no good reason NOT to use fiber for a longer run between devices - in my case a pair of network switches. I have a cluster of PCs participating in one of the distributed computing research projects (folding @ home). Each machine needs a network connection to deliver the results of it's last work unit and retrieve it's next work unit. I have these machines in an out-of-the-way area of my house, since they need minimal interaction from me - and what they do need I can generally do remotely. This fiber is used to connect the small switch used for these machines back to my network core switch - enabling the connectivity these boxes require. As long as you properly handle the fiber (keep the dust caps on until you are ready to connect it, don't kink it, pay attention to the bend radius, etc.) and properly connect it (clean the ends using an appropriate fiber optic cable cleaner - which is NOT your t-shirt!), it works well.

Works not broke...
It's a fiber mm cable, what else to say

Works great
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Does what it says on the tin. I had to reverse at one end but that's because I was using a 10gig sfp on both ends

Great OM3 Fiber Cable
Was skeptical about the price of these cables at first but realized I got a great deal. Small server cluster was starting to show its age on gigabit Ethernet and was time for an upgrade. Some SFP+ 10GB Network Cards some transceivers and these cables and I was up and running besides having to configure my recently acquired NetApp Fiber Cluster Switch. These cables seem to be fairly durable being I have accidentally stepped on some a few times. Snagged two of them walking and I thought they broke. The LC connector's did snap off and snapped right back together. Now I know this is not normal use for a fiber optic cable but accidents did happen and the cables have been rugged enough to maintain their connection. Even with all the faults they still remained within a margin of error that each cable had on its own loss report. Yes every cable comes with a report on the label indicating its tested loss. I thought they were all the same label but no. Shows good quality control and indicates what you are receiving. Tested the cables with a borrowed meter and all tested within margin of error of what was specified. These specs maintained even after their mishaps.

Works as expected at 1 gig
I ran this across my house a few years ago, and it's still running strong. Working great at 1000Base-FX. Connected to optics at both ends with no problems. Came with covers on both ends, just as you would expect with any new fiber patch cable. I fully expect it to work well with 10GBase-SR if and when I upgrade equipment at both ends in the future.

Great fiber, lower cost than others! Replaced Ethernet - improved download from 49Gbps to 389Gbps
I strung this multi-mode fiber cable (with fiber converters) through the attic from one side of my house to the other end, replacing the Ethernet-Over-Powerline boxes that I previously used to connect my home office network to my internet connection 130 feet away. Converting my home network to fiber across that 130 foot span improved my home office internet download speed from 49Gbps to 389Gbps - a great value! This 130 feet of fiber cable for under $50 was the best price of any competitors and it was easy to string across my attic and easy to connect to the fiber to Ethernet converters on each end of my home network. Great price, excellent quality, fast throughput. I recommend it.

Great High Quality Fiber Cable to connect our Switches
This cable was exactly as advertised. Was shipped on time and was of high quality. Used this to connect our IDF to our MDF in a large warehouse environment.
