Had an issue with a convertible car. Didn't want to use a big magnet because I want it to stay so I can just put my antenna on when needed, which isn't often. Didn't quite have enough cable because of how I have to route the wire, but a normal car you would be fine. I have to zig-zag around the frame to my boot and clip it to the loom that's there. This adds 50% more cable to your job. Fixed with a short extension wire, not ideal but it's fine. It has a PL fitting, so I also had to buy an adapter to fit on my antenna; I knew this before ordering. Comes with a little cover for when no antenna is attached. It fits on the edge of the boot lid and uses two Allen key screws to tighten. They were a little too long, so I had to get shorter ones, but for most cars it would be fine. Solved the problem, and SWR was fine too.
