I am wondering if it's too restrictive and may limit hip movement?** A: Well, I am not a doctor but my baby is able to move very easily in this. It's not restrictive or tight and doesn't bind the legs or hips. It simply muffles major movement. My little one is able to lift his arms and legs and wiggle around the crib. He sleeps well in it because I believe it makes him feel warm and snug. **Q: Can I nurse my daughter in this? Also, My daughter is 3 months. She is 12.5lbs and 24.5" I bought the 3-6 months, is it going to be too small?** A: Based on your daughters age and weight the 3-6 month Magic Sleepsuit sounds like the perfect size for her. He's on his way out of a swaddle, will the largest suit (up to 21lbs) be too small?** A: I realize this is an older thread, but wanted to provide clarification for parents still reading these questions. I would say try it. Our LO is 27" long and 16 lbs. His arms and legs hang out of it a bit, BUT it still provides that feeling of a swaddle to his midsection and chest. I think have comfort in the midsection and chest is what's so comforting and effective about this suit. Our nephew was the same way. He was a very large baby and his arms/legs were never completely covered, but he slept so well when in this suit. As my sister says....the call it a magic suit for a reason.
