Well worth the price, great quality and, excellent protection!
The KingKong 7152 Grill Cover for my Weber Performer is awesome. I got tired of replacing inferior quality canvas covers that just don't last in the Southern California sun. The fit is excellent. The quality of the material is impressive. Based on other reviews (especially those from Texas), I expect this cover to last a LONG TIME. Oh, and besides that it looks great on my grill. I consider this a nice upgrade.

Best grill cover on the market
It’s truly the best fitting and best quality grill cover I’ve ever purchased hopefully it holds up in the sun, but it certainly keeps the rain off of my new Weber performer grill. It’s not made of weatherproof canvas. It almost feels like rubber. It’s so thick. I love it. Thank you, King Kong for a very well-made cover.

Fits Better Then the OEM Weber Cover
This review is for the Kingkong 7152 Grill Cover for Weber Performer Charcoal Grills, 22-Inch (Compared to Weber 7152). Initial Impressions: Material used appears to be sturdy but pliable and I expect that I will not need the 3 year warranty that was included. This fit my older Weber Performer grill perfectly (see pic) – not so tight that it was a lot of work to get on like the Weber Cover, but also not too loose - Kingkong seems to have found that happy middle for this grill cover. Note that the description for this cover is slightly inaccurate. The 4th bullet point for the Performer Deluxe Charcoal Grill – 22”: Secure fit & Wind resistant: Large Velcro straps at the bottom of cover, provide a more fitted appearance, put on the BBQ cover for grill, and then tie Velcro strap to the leg. The strap will make grill covers tighter, keep the cover in place and will not be blown away by wind. This model cover does not have (and does not need) the Large Velcro straps at the bottom of the cover to provide a more fitted appearance. It does have the single Velcro strap that secures the cover to the leg of the grill. If you want to see the large straps used for fitted appearance, change the item to any of the other covers (Genesis, Spirit or Summit) and you’ll clearly see them on the sides to help taper the cover under the ‘shelves’. Pros: - Grill Cover easily slides on/off without being too loose (and definitely not as tight and difficult as the Weber cover). - Material seems durable and description says it is backed with a 3 year warranty. - Included tongs were as nice as a few other pairs I already own, and have nice rubberized/non-slip surfaces on both handles and the unlock mechanism (black parts in pictures) that are useful if your hands are greasy or wet. - Velcro on the leg is 2” wide webbing that appears to do a great job securing the cover to the grill while still being easy to separate (see pic and also see con below) - Grill Brush is a proven design that works well for cleaning BBQ grill grates (also see con below). Cons: - Why did they put the single Velcro strap on the BACK right leg? This is my only real complaint about the cover as it would have been much easier to operate had the used one of the FRONT legs for this purpose. - Fee Grill Brush handle is too short for using while grill is still running unless you are wearing gloves. I have the exact same design that I’ve used for years but the handle is much longer so I can clean the grates immediately after cooking (while they are still hot and the scrapings can burn off on the coals below as it falls vs leaving a greasy mess for next time). Still a nice freebee as I do have gloves. I’ll try to update this if I have any issues with the cover or after we have a good summer storm that should prove the cover design stays on as intended.

Better than the Weber Cover
After my flimsy, Weber-branded cover cracked and faded after just a couple of seasons, I replaced it with the Kingkong 7152—and it completely outperforms the original in every way. The material is significantly thicker and heavier, staying perfectly pliable through freezing winters and scorching summers without ballooning in high winds. It fits my Genesis grill like a glove, features robust Velcro strap that actually stay secure, and even threw in a high-quality grill brush and tongs for a fraction of the OEM price. Stop paying a premium just for the Weber logo; this is the heavy-duty, weatherproof upgrade your grill actually deserves.

Heavy duty and great fit
These are great grill covers and are heavy and well made. I have another cover from the same manufacturer that is at least 4-5 years old and it still looks great. The fit was also perfect.

Great replacement for my Weber. Fits properly and material looks like it will hold up.

Cover Still Good After Seven Years of Use
I bought the KingKong in 2019 and seven years later it's still works - it hasn't faded and it hasn't shown any sign of wear. I have bought at least three other brands of grill covers including the manufacturer's and none have come close to lasting more than two years. I'm in the mid Atlantic and we've gone from temps over 100 to zero sometimes... and sometimes it feels like in one day. So the KingKong cover has been through some weather. In 2021 I bought a second cover for a gas grill for my cabin in West Virginia - the winter conditions there are pretty rough and that cover, likewise, has held up. Now, I don't know if they still are making this cover like they did five years ago, but it they are, then don't waste your money on other products.

Holds like a champ!
I'm glad I chose this cover over the Webber one; it's thicker and fits my grill perfectly. I haven't had any issues with fitting it, whether putting it on or taking it off, and after more than a year, it withstands the summer heat, hurricane rain, and snowpocalypse—there haven't been any scratches or tears. Plus, the grill scraper and clamps are really heavy-duty and reliable.
