Parker Commuter Laptop Backpack

I use this to commute on bike to my office. In it I carry - A work outfit (Jeans, shirt, sweater, etc.,), a towel for a shower, toiletries (just soap and shampoo really), and office shoes, plus my work laptop, and some odds and ends. Works super well, very comfortable despite the weight I am draggung around (not the bags fault), and overall it feels rather aero, the straps help it stay on well, keeping everything pinned down. I did a lot of research, bought multiple bags, and all this research and testing now goes to you, where you just can buy this bag and thank me later.

Going back to the office and I wanted a backpack to replace a well used laptop bag. This works great. Separate compartment for laptop means I don’t have to open the main area and dig. Plenty of space for cables, keys, notepads, pens, sunglasses and other necessaries. Durable, fits my broad shoulders and looks good!

The pack is comfortable to wear and has just the right amount of pockets so I don’t over pack it.

I purchased this as a gift for my husband who previously had another Timbuk2 backpack that was starting to get worn out and was no longer big enough for him to use for work + carrying other items. He hasn’t had a chance to use this yet since the holiday but seems to be exactly what he wants!

Best water-bottle pockets I have ever had on a backpack. Love the looks. Just not enough organization/usable-room for me. The tapered bottom made it frustrating to use and the outside pockets are not really usable if you have anything in the bag, even if "expanded". I have used timbuk2 for years and may give another model a go in the future if my cycling picks up again and takes more importance over organization and volume.

The promotional photos displayed on the Amazon listing showcased a beautifully crafted bag, and I was excited to receive it. However, upon its arrival, I was disappointed to find that the product I received was quite different from what was advertised. It's such a shame when expectations are not met. Firstly, let me acknowledge the positive aspects of this backpack. The overall build quality and material used are undeniably excellent. The craftsmanship is solid, and the bag feels durable, which is crucial for a daily commuter like myself. Additionally, the storage capacity and organization features are well thought out, offering ample space for my laptop, books, and other essentials. However, the main reason for my disappointment lies in the discrepancy between the product advertised and the one I received. The photos on the Amazon listing showcased a sleek, streamlined design with elegant accents and a refined color scheme. The bag I received, however, had different color tones and lacked the attention to detail displayed in the images. It's disheartening to receive a product that doesn't live up to the visuals that initially attracted me to it. Furthermore, the interior organization pockets and compartments did not match the advertised layout. While I understand that minor differences may occur, the overall design and functionality should remain consistent. Unfortunately, this was not the case with the Parker Commuter Laptop backpack I received. In light of these discrepancies, I have decided to return the backpack. While the craftsmanship and quality of the bag are commendable, the mismatched appearance and inconsistent design make it difficult for me to keep it. I expected a product that reflected the attention to detail showcased in the photos, and the disparity was a significant letdown. I hope that Timbuk2 addresses this issue and provides accurate representations of their products to avoid disappointing future customers. For now, I will continue my search for a backpack that not only meets my functional needs but also aligns with the visual appeal I was initially drawn to. Overall, the Timbuk2 Parker Commuter Laptop backpack had the potential to be an exceptional product, but the mismatch between the advertised photos and the actual product I received left me disappointed. It's regrettable that the visuals fell short, as I believe it could have been a fantastic addition to my daily commute.

It's a really nice pack - Good materials; seems built to last a while; very well thought-out with little details everywhere; and I like the look - good enough for the office. But I don't always carry a lot of stuff and it is just a little too big for me. Also, it's $$$. So I ended up returning it and am going to downsize.

This pack deliveries the high quality, heavy-duty construction I’ve come to expect from Timbuk2. The function is even more effective and advanced than my previous one from them. Well done!

表面にポケットが3つあり、すぐ取り出したい、財布やイアホン、メモ帳などを収納しています。真ん中はマグネット式なので開閉も楽です。 底面にあるポケットにはバックパックカバーが入っており、急な大雨でも大丈夫です。もともとの素材的にも雨水は強そうなので安心ですね。 メイン収納部にはパソコンスリーブと大きめのポケットが1つあります。小物の小分けは出来ませんが、十分に物は入りそうです。荷物が少ない時は薄く使え、ファスナーを開けるとサイズが大きくなるのでかなり容量も増えます。 腰部分のベルトは取り外し可能です。 デザインもスタイリッシュで、もともと丈夫で有名なバッグメーカーなので大満足です。 私はバックパックが好きで月に1~2個は新しいバックパックを買ってしまいますが、お気に入り上位に入りそうです。

auf der Suche nach dem perfekten Rucksack bin ich jetzt wohl angekommen. Gut, ein Rucksack ist ein Kompromiss da einer für alle Situationen nicht geht - die Spezialisten haben ihre Berechtigung. Ich nehme ihn zum Pendeln, Die Größe ist gut, 25 liter, erweiterbar auf 35, das schafft Flexibilität. Die Drei Taschen auf der Vorderseite sind sinnvoll, die obere ist sogar gefüttert, so dass man Brillen oder Gegenstände mit Display mit gutem Gewissen reinlegen kann. Mittlere Tasche ist mit Magnetverschluß, oft sieht man Leute mit geöffnetem Reisverschluß am Rucksack. Passiert hier nicht. Super! Untere Tasche verdeckt einige Schlaufen. Ich habe daran mein Blinklicht rangemacht, damit ich beim Radfahren gesehen werde. Sehr gut. Es gibt auch 4 kleine Schlaufen, die die Befestigung einer Lampe erlauben würden. Einfach durchdacht. Mit Getränketaschen aus Mesh habe ich schon bei anderen Herstellern schleche Erfahrungen gemacht, nach kurzer Zeit sieht Mesh hier aus, wie aus dem Krieg. Hier wird einfach das Material der Seitenwand benutzt um Taschen zu formen. Links mit kleinem Loch, so dass ein feuchter Schirm ablaufen könnten - zum Trocknen ist es wohl zu eng. Auf der anderen Seite pass eine Wasserflasche rein. 0,7 Liter... kein Problem. Eine 1,0 Liter Active Flask dürfte wohl zu groß sein. Die Innenaufteilung ist OK, ein großes Fach, Fach für Labtop und Buch. Eine Seitentasche. Unten: Eingebautes Fach mit Regenhülle. Perfekt durchdacht. Viel Reflektierendes an Rückseite und Trägern. Ich halte den Timbukt2 Parker Pack wirklich für sehr durchdacht und mit tollen Detaillösungen, wie die Magnetischen Verschlüsse an den Riemen (z.B. Brustgurt). Hält toll, ist so leicht zu öffnen, wie kein anderer Verschluß, den ich jemals gesehen habe. Ich bin durch und durch begeistert. Tragekomfort, Einstellmöglichkeiten... finde ich richtig gut.

La uso como mi mochila diaria, previamente tenía otra mochila de la misma marca pero más pequeña. Ahora compré esta por las buenas reseñas pero es excesivamente grande (alta) para lo que necesito. La utilizo con una MacBook de 14”, y me sobra muchísimo espacio. Supongo que para mochila de viaje debe ser bastante útil. La cubierta para lluvia me ha salvado ya en más de una ocasión. De la calidad no hay mucho que decir, es bastante buena calidad y buenos materiales. Únicamente el material de adelante de las bolsas se ensucia muy fácil y eso no me gustó tanto.
