The 2 RGB light bars/mini towers can either be simply stood up by docking them in the included stand (with grippy base, mounted/adhered to a surface via the included brackets which simply slide in/out of the lightbars and have adhesive on the other side, or simply stood/rested by themselves if you can't be bothered with any setup. I have had several forms of RGB light bars and light strips around my place and desk set up, but they always lack that visual 'oomph', whereas these light can get super bright in comparison - I have lots of black items (curtains, desk, etc) around my setup and they still light up the area surprisingly well. The app let's you customise the colour and brightness levels for your setup, and let's you establish timers, music/voice response modes and use specific colour 'scenes'. My only minor gripe is that they're not smart assistant compatible in and of themselves, but this can be overcome by either using smart plugs for basic on/off commands, and I'd imagine that you might be able to install a generic WiFi/IR smart adapter (uses apps such a Magic Home) to override colour settings (I have done this in the past with similar light bars), although I haven't done this myself.

The included remote didn't work so the lights have been left flashing and cycling endlessly. I can't see anywhere on my cable or the lamps that would even receive the signal from the remote. Can't find the listed app in the play store and wouldn't sync with my existing smartlight control app. Completely useless if all they're going to do is cycle through a few colours.

Use as secondary lights while watching tv in bedroom Doesn't give off a direct light (they are ambient after all, so that's good) but fill the room with light. Great that you can dim or switch colours using the app. Dead easy to use. Would be nice to have greater variety of colour and effects, but overall I.love them.

I absolutely adore these, and they’re amazing value for money! My one critique is that the app does not let you completely customise gradients and multi-coloured display, only letting you pick from presets! But thats barely a problem considering you can set your static colour. It even retains the last setting when you switch it off and on! The lights are quite bright, too :]

The lights are good, the app is easy to work. HOWEVER, me and my brother have these and seem to keep connecting to each others lights which is really frustrating, and have to keep checking that his lights are ‘unlinked’ to mine before I change my colours. If this could be fixed that his device doesn’t come up on my phone and vice versa then these would be better.

I leave these right behind my monitor and it gives a good amount of lighting on the wall. It is easier to set up than light strips and better quality! Comes with adhesive to be mounted on tables.

Colors are nice it has app support, but led lights are quite visible theough the plastic, it is not homogenlusly distributed on the plastic plane.

Brightness: definitely better than I expected. The LEDs shine bright enough to make your wall glow up but if you’re facing them towards you like I do you’ll have to lower the brightness which isn’t a problem at all. (10/10) Colours/modes: the colours are perfect. They’re clear and don’t look like the cheap LED sticks that you can buy for 5$. As for the modes, Rainbow mode (forgot what it’s called) is super good because most LEDs have a cheap transition when it comes to switching/moving colours around but this one works perfectly, it’s super clear to see what colours are changing and it offers a wide variety of different modes. One thing is they’re all relatively the same just different colour patterns. (8/10) Bluetooth music: like most, doesn’t work :/ they come with songs inside the app that you can choose from but it’s all songs like “happy birthday” and the audio is VERY cheap and muffled. The only way to play music through the LEDs is to put music on from your phone out loud and have the LED speakers pick the sound up but even at that it just flashes random colours whenever it hears noise so it’s not even close to synced music. (0/10) Overall: (8/10) the only reason it’s an 8 instead of 10 is because of the music not working and lack of originality when it comes to the different modes to choose from. For 33$ I definitely wanted to see the the music work but most LED companies like these lie about it so I wasn’t shocked to see it not work. Overall, I would DEFINITELY buy this if you’re looking for something to change your room up! Hope this helped.
