Peace of Mind
This is an excellent camera set up that provides some peace of mind when away from the house. It was a relatively easy install, but it’s much easier to run lines if you have an extra hand. Everything came online right away when plugged in, and the Lorex Home app is a great way to check while you’re away. The app also integrates any other Lorex products really well, like the doorbell camera. My only complaint is the motion detection features are very sensitive. I’ve played with various sensitivity settings and adjusted motion zones but my cameras always alert for bugs and the shadow from my flag on my front porch. I was mostly able to solve the flag issue with motion zones, but the bugs, especially at night flying around the low infrared light, still trigger motion and create a recording. I’ve had Ring products previously and this Lorex set up is far superior in both quality and functionality/ease of use.

Good product with ecosystem but only 1 hard drive
This model only supports one hard drive while other NVR systems support two hard drives up to 10 GB. I purchased two WD purples to upgrade this and was surprised to see only one 2 GB Seagate Drive. The cameras that come with this kit are great and record up to 4K but even with a six tb drive that means you can only store about 2 weeks worth of footage at a time.

It takes a little time to run the wires, but other than that, it's pretty easy.
I really like the clarity of the video and how easy it was to install.

Customer Service is AWFULL!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of the cables was bad therefore one of the cameras is not working. I called Customer Service (based in India) and supplied them all of the documents, photos, and all pertinent information they requested via email. They still wanted me to confirm everything with them over the phone. I couldn't understand what the rep was saying. Needless to say, I was so frustrated that I am just going to send the whole package back to Amazon and purchase a security system from Lorex' competitor. I will not buy Lorex ever again because of their Customer Service.
