Not very good, but it does the job. However I purchased this one because of the external antenna, to get better WiFi reception. I am replacing a MiniX box that has no problems with reception. It's also positioned in the area of the room where my laptop and iPhone have no problem reaching WiFi signal from a router in a room next door. This thing, however, can't pickup WiFi very well at all. I have to place it literally within a few feet of the router in order for it to be able to play anything.
