A minor annoyance. Just remember to blow off the loose dust before using.The flange is a tight fit with ducting. No leaks but a little difficult to get the duct over the flange. Airflow reduction is barely noticeable.The smell is 99.9% gone. Don't waste money on cheap filters. It operates nearly silent, and does a great job, contrary to people telling me I needed a large powerful loud vortex fan. Been running it for 2 months now, and not a whif of anything outside cabinet. VERY QUITE I forget to turn it off after grinding. The Panasonic with this filter is perfect. The two can be coupled directly to eachother.
