Great soil base
I’ve been using these blocks for my soil for years now. It’s the base for nearly all of my 80 plants, along with perlite and, depending on the plant, some other soil amendments. Good drainage, not dusty, solid amount when you rehydrate (I think I do around 4 L per block), cheap compared to store bought potting solid and you get a ton of quantity once hydrated. I just keep it in a large vittle fault premixed once hydrate. Yes, it does smell a bit when hydrating, but that dissipates.

Good coco coir option
No complaints, seems like a good option for a soil amendment. I used them in very sandy Florida soil for in ground avocado plantings. Seems to work well for retaining moisture but also ensuring good drainage. I used to live in Utah and I used coconut coir there to loosen clay soil an improve drainage.

Good quality Coir
I use this product in growing mushrooms. It is good quality. No insects, no mold or other contaminants. When processed correctly it will hold the correct amount of moisture. Easy to use.

Great use for sand boxes for rats and helps with plant drainage
Great price and it really does spread out a lot when you wet it. I used half a brick and I got a whole sand box for my rats, and 4 new filled pots for my plants. I honestly didnt think there would be so much condensed into these bricks and now I have 5 1/2 brick to use for anything. It wasnt dusty at all when wetting it or when it dried, which is why its such a good material for rats to play in! It does seem like it drains water pretty well. After a day the pots soil doesn't seem wet anymore and that's something my plants have needed, as ive been dealing with soil mites from overdose soil. Highly recommend using these and mixing with potting soil to help keep those mites away. They aren't harmful to your plants at all (unless you have spider mites) and they can help with breaking down organic matter, but all the same I do not want them in my house so using these bricks have been super helpful!

Great Coco Coir! Would buy again
Re-hydrated very well. I used 8 cups of boiling water and heat resistance silicone glove to re-hydrated in a oven safe bag. Scrapped off the hydrated layer every 2 cups of water. No issue with dust and oven bag handle the heat very well.

Seed started soil
Great for starting plants from seed. Even greater success if used with a grow light.

Very fine
This is really fine. I was expecting larger fibers. This is like peat.

Highly recommend!!
Quality product! Saves space for storing, just hydrate what you need. Make sure your container is big enough because this stuff EXPANDS! One brick expands to over three gallons. This is my second purchase of this product. Nope er any foreign matter, just the coir. TIP: use warm/hot water for faster hydration!
