Does the job

Well constructed and works flawlessly straight out of the box. Highly recommend for presentations, much better than a clicker and easy to programme the buttons to skip back and forth through slides. Looks super professional.

Lasted me a while. Worth the cost

Dell support do not recognise the serial number for this stylus. The serial number is on a plain paper label affixed to the box and is not scratch to reveal. As I cannot register the warranty, I must assume this is not a genuine Dell product and I am returning for refund.

I bought this for my Dell Inspiron 14 2-in-1 7440, having researched the product and found that it is reportedly compatible. But once it arrived and I tried to set it up, I found that I was unable to use the driver software Dell Display and Peripheral Manager on my laptop because it simply didn't show the option to connect pens to my laptop (as in, any pen, not just this one). When I contacted support I was told that the pen and my laptop were incompatible, and when I asked about the page that had claimed that they were in fact compatible, they continued repeating the exact same series of words at me over and over, completely ignoring anything I said to them. The lack of ability to access the driver software means that you cannot configure the buttons on the pen. Only one of the side buttons does anything, and the top button can only be set to a small selection of options in the Windows Ink settings, but cannot be set to anything custom. The pen itself also regularly disconnects from my laptop and simply stops working. After charging it for 10 minutes or so it will continue working, despite claiming that the entire time it was on 90% battery, never any more, never any less. This happens regardless of how long I charge the pen for, it just randomly stops working. The pen is also somewhat laggy on my laptop (cannot draw smooth curves most of the time), although that could be the fault of the laptop rather than the pen. Still, you'd expect with the price of both the laptop and pen that they would work smoothly together. Overall, if you're planning on using a laptop for note-taking or art, I wouldn't, and would either use paper or get something dedicated like a Remarkable. This pen is not suitable for any serious use.

Worked out of the box on Inspiron 7545 with Linux Mint.

Funziona perfettametne con un Dell Inspiron di ultima generazione e devo dire che mio figlio si trova benissimo nell'uso a scuola e per disegnare. Io l'ho provata velocemente e devo dire che l'uso è molto naturale. In mano è robusta e ben costruita, vediamo quanto dura ma non mi sembra pacottaglia, anzi.

Fantastic stylus from Dell. And it's magnetic property comes quite handy. Top of that 2 side buttons and top button can be customized for chosen actions. And with Tile location tracker from your phone it can be located.
