The child will go from letter sounds, to letter blends and finally to reading sentences. This book focuses on phonetic reading and the short vowel sounds. The vowels are in red to encourage elongating the vowels which helps with the blending process in reading. The lessons are about 10 minutes each, short and simple. The book is intended for children ages 3-7 as a primer for beginning reading. Children do not need prior reading skills for this book. After the child completes the 51 lessons, they will be reading decodable sentences with ease. The author taught 4 of her children to read by the age of 3 with this simple method! Great! Not distracting and to the point

My K kid is all of sudden reading words with confidence. My 2 year old has absolutely leveled up in speech. And we’re just getting started! Just what I needed

It works !
Before ordering this book my child knew all of the letter sounds. I showed him using flashcards. Then, I ordered this book in November now 5months later my 4 year old is reading bob books! We did a page per day and sometimes the same page for a few days. After he completed this book we went through it a second time. Now he is reading bob books I just placed an order for the second book! It def works and is so simple to go through just keep going! Along with this book I had my child practice cvc words on diff worksheets coinciding with the sounds he was learning. I recommend you to watch some of Jady YouTube videos before ordering this book it is very helpful.

Proof is in the pudding
Absolutely amazing system. My kid has clear signs of the same learning disability I had, and I was consistently two years behind in reading. This book breaks down the daunting task of reading tutoring in a way that’s easy for parents. I’ve done it with my son and two others in the neighborhood, the two other boys have picked it up very quickly at age 4! My son has been learning a bit slower, but I’m very very glad to fina simple resource without all the bells and whistles and complicated learning curves to help him get a head start! It’s very very easy, and her YouTube videos make it clear how to teach, it took no time at all to figure out. You can’t beat her prices and it’s unreal how quickly they learn this intuitive system. Not enough positive things to say about this. I’ve gotten 6 other moms in the neighborhood to start this system and they all say the same thing-it’s incredible! Takes sooooo much of the stress off the parent trying to figure out how to help teach and support kiddos learning. This made it easy and doable. Took all the intimidation out of it!! Her YouTube where she shows this system is called “Jady A” on YouTube! She has a LOT of amazing resources for those interested. Walks you through how to homeschool or home tutor! I will be doing everything she recommends for years to come!

Great tool
Taught my daughter how to read using this book. It is great and I will be using it for my next child. The only reason I didn’t give a four or five stars is because I would have loved for them to put more examples on how to pronounce all vowels, short and long like words next to each letter for long i and short i sounds. I think pictures in this kind of book would’ve gone a long way too, but I still love the book regardless

So straightforward!
My 4 year old is already reading and just finished this book, and my 3 year old is learning to read 3-letter words. Before we began this book I taught my kids their letter sounds. I made sure they had them down SOLID. That was an essential first step. Both my kids had a little trouble moving from two-letter sounds to the three letter words, when that happened I’d keep the book facing me and just read the sounds aloud and let them form the word. “c-a-t”…. “CAT!” This helped them grasp the concept of blending three letter words a bit easier. Wonderful book, zero daily prep. We still review our letter sounds daily just to keep my kids sharp. Highly recommend. Never thought my kiddos would be reading this young and that it would be so easy to teach them!
