XPETI Men's TERRA Mid Hiking Boot

I usually have trouble finding boots that fit well. I've not a big person and have a size 7 wide (EE) shoe. A lot of shoes for men don't even go down to this size. These fit me very well with one thick sock. I was surprised how comfortable they were right from the start. I also have a high instep and a high arch. Getting in them was easy and the support is decent. Light weight and appear to be made well. I haven't had a chance to wear them out in the snow very long but they seem to be well insulated. I like that there is a small amount of reflective material on the cloth on the shoelace eye loops. My YakTrax fit well on these but the tread seems pretty grippy in just snow. The cost was relatively low and I was skeptical how these would be but they really have exceeded my expectations so far.

I never thought I would ever write a product review, BUT THESE BOOTS ARE INCREDIBLE. I have had these for about four weeks now and have used them in heavy rain, really heavy morning dew walking to the deer stand, just below freezing temps camping this weekend. I've mostly have worn them on warm afternoons that tend to create moisture in boots, and once that happens and the temps fall at night, you got cold and wet feet and these boots perform amazingly well keeping the moisture out. How they are so breathable and also waterproof I have no idea, but the technology is there. I am wearing socks that cost half as much as the boots, so that may help a little with the moisture issues that cause boots to suck, but these XPETI's don't suck at all. I was a little concerned with the mesh outer material of the boots but they also handle the briars and vines at the farm that tend to shred other boots and shoes to pieces. Oh, and by the way..... I have already ordered a second pair of XPETI boots (Thermator Mid-Rise Waterproof Lightweight Hiking Boot) since I was so blown away by the performance of these boots. The new boots are of the same quality and just as comfortable, and at a price point that usually means you are buying junk. Shoes at this price usually cause back issues after a day on my feet, but not these. So impressed!!!! I would gladly accept any samples of new XPETI products for testing and review. HAHA

A good quality, snug fitting boot. Have a soft tread. Comfortable and waterproof. I’ve had several pair and will buy again. Rubber over top of toe has a tendency to come loose over time at back edge. A good choice for the money. I do a lot of hiking and walking in all types of terrain. These work well in the mountains or around town.

I am 52 y/o female with picky feet and back injuries that will flare up in minutes if shoe is not right. These are great! I wear a size 8-8.5 in women's shoes and I ordered a 7 in men's. Arch support is wonderful. It isn't too high, but isn't non-existent either. I felt very supported. It has a nice roomy toe box, has good overall width and I will be able to put on my thickest socks (which I do to prevent blisters.) My ankles were well supported too; I won't have to worry as much about rolling my ankle. One thing I've never noticed in a shoe/sneaker/boot and thought was really cool-the back edge of the sole didn't compress like in a sneaker or even other boots. For me that meant greater stability front to back too. I felt like I was standing with my weight very centered and I felt more sure footed. For someone with weak ankles and back injuries I have to say these are great, supportive, sure footed boots! All that said, I also have to say that the quality for the money was really nice too. I didn't want to pay $100-$150 for good boots. We just moved and lots of $ is going into the house and I didn't want to take away from that, but I needed boots. These are good quality, well made boits at a price I was really happy with.

About 2 years of use and I have to say these are awesome boots,They are so good I already purchased a new pair but the originals just keep on going. I work as a janitor in a college so I am on my feet all day and im constantly getting water and chemicals on the boots and I have had zero leaks or tears,even when I have to shovel snow,2 years ago I bought a pair of name brand boots that were almost 200 bucks and they ripped in 6 months. These boots are very light weight,breathable and are water proof. The only thing I had to do is order a bigger size,I am a12 but I had to get a 13 but other than that as long as they still keep making them I will never use another work boot again, I know they are technically hiking boots but if your on your feet all day like a security guard you will love these boots. :)

These are great boots. For the price they're exceptionally great boots. I've spent double this on boots and couldn't say the double price ones were any better. I haven't had them too long yet, so this isn't a long term review, but they feel great and i think they'll hold up. I ended up buying a second pair of them bc I liked them so much.

I worn them twice on a hike and one of the string loops popped. It was good while it lasted.

So I bought the boots for a Two week trip to Alaska. So first off all the peeps that said you need to replace the insoles must have bad feet. My feet where comfort the hole time. The boot has a nice wide track. walked around in the snow and was very stable and my feet never got cold, everyone else was slipping and sliding. We went panning for gold in the river. I was walking around in the water and never did my socks get wet. we did several hikes and my feet never hurt. I love these boots and would highly recommend them. I did wear them to work for a week before we left to break them in.

Estas botas no son nada cómodas, son super duras y no tienen flexibilidad en lo absoluto, así como me las puse, me las quite y las regresé, se ven muy bonitas pero para una caminata en senderismo no me imagino como acabarías...
