This is great quality, and a blast to play with.

Neat for Office or Getting Kids Interested in Engines (With Supervision)
Really neat. I ended up buying it to teach my kid basic mechanics, and it's neat seeing/hearing it run and getting the LED to light up. You can even unplug and plug the LED to see the load change on the engine. Hint, if you disassemble it and use a PTFE spray, you'll get a few more RPMs out of it when it is at full heat. They even include an extra set of gaskets in case they wear out.

It's pretty cool.
Only bad thit is when you pick up the fuel and put it in the container it came with. The frame is so high if you don't have commonsense you will set the place on fire. Keep that in mind when purchasing

It works
It works. Actually generates 8V. Only run for very short time to avoid damage to the heat bulb. An extra glass bulb comes with the unit, a clue that it can be damaged. No idea where you'd get a replacement. Using 90% denatured ethanol. Burns clean and odorless. Pure grain ethanol is illegal in the state oh Ohio unless denatured. Sold as Klean Strip "Fuel".

Bought for my nephew so tested it and it started up just great. Seems well built but the glass bulb needs to treated with care.

I likely would have given this thing 5 starts cuz it’s really awesome….. except that it didn’t include spare parts as advertised and more importantly it didn’t include the burner or wick and it’s pretty hard to make it work without the burner. There was also no LED in the package and no spare tube as advertised. Really awesome little engine but really poor quality control.
