How can it attach to pack?

I just received this umbrella. It appears fairly fragile to me. Would this umbrella survive a two-week hike in rather heavy winds?

It is a little fragile and some of feedback I saw was that it did not do great if really windy, I used mine three times in heavy rain, some wind, and it performed well, but never heavy wind. I was glad to have it though when needed And it tucked nicely into my backpack!

In this page it says "Weight: 7.1 oz - 201.28 g" and "Weight: 6.8 oz - 193 g" which one is true?

Is this the one with the carbon shaft?
