Does this keep your head and neck from moving side to side? I have vertigo and need to keep my head and neck straight ahead.

This does not prevent movement it mainly adds some support and relief for tired neck muscles. Although there is some stability provided it won't keep you totally upright or from turning your head.

I do not see in the dimensions the height of the large or small for that matter only the size neck and that is the distance around not height..... tha

Hi, In ordering this neck brace we considered my husband’s neck shirt size, 17-17 1/2. It fits him well & snoring is greatly reduced. I don’t have any other information to share.

Will this fit a 17" neck?

It will adjust to 17 ". However, there may be a gap in the padding. I have a "regular" size - perhaps Caldera offers a larger size.
