I purchased this clock for a community pool area. It’s very easy to read from a distance and keeps accurate time. We hung it under a covered patio area, so it doesn’t get direct sun beating on it. The size is great and it’s visible from the spa on the far side of the pool. It’s so reasonably priced! A great buy!

the thermometer is fine, but the packaging was sloppy. i had bought slippers, gloves and this thermometer, and the big box it arrived in was loosely packaged, with the shoes and the slippers on the thermometer plastic front. so the thermometer plastic cover had come undone from the thermometer housing, and the slippers and gloves were on the plastic cover. the plastic cover is a little blemished with scratches. it certainly could have been packaged better that it was, the items were very loose in the box. and, the manufacturer could have covered the thermometer packaging with some kind of shrink wrap to protect the plastic thermometer cover. but it will work, no one is going to get close to the thermometer to notice the scratches and blems on the thermometer housing cover.

The Taylor Indoor Outdoor Metal Wall Clock looks impressive at first glance because of its large 18-inch size, but unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The overall build quality is surprisingly cheap for a clock priced at $49.99. The back of the clock is especially concerning: the caulking is only applied halfway, leaving noticeable gaps that make me seriously doubt its ability to withstand outdoor conditions. The back panel is made from a thin sheet of aluminum, giving the clock almost no weight and an overall flimsy feel. For something marketed as outdoor‑friendly, the construction just doesn’t inspire confidence. Yes, the size is great and the numbers are easy to read, but that alone doesn’t justify the price. Based on the quality, this clock feels like it should be $19.99 at most, not nearly fifty dollars. If you’re looking for something sturdy and weather‑resistant for a patio or pool area, this one will likely disappoint. The low build quality simply doesn’t match the cost.

Good fit for my chosen location; maybe a bit flimsy, but works fine

I love this outdoor thermometer. I bought one about 7 years ago and it worked great on our deck until we had a very bad wind storm and it got blown right off the post and crashed to the ground. I was glad when I saw that Amazon carried this one since the other one I bought was from a hardware store which is no longer open.

I’m not going to return the item because I like the way it looks. HOWEVER, I purchased it to replace an older one on our deck whose hygrometer was no longer performing. Well, this one’s not much better. At the end of a shower and still spattered in rain, the reading was far less than 100%. Never passes 50% on any given rainy day.

Nice clock, hung it in the screen room and it has kept very accurate temperatures. Large numbers of so you do not have to squint when looking out the window to see it. Very nice price
