STOP IT - Make Your Original YETI Lid Leak Proof (see image for fit) - 20oz, Camo

I love how the Ozark trail tumbler kept my coffee hot but hated how it just spilled so easily because of the opening on the lid. Aways having to make sure it doesnt get knocked over & have spillage gets annoying. I got the cup on sale. So when I found this stopper & saw the price was more than I paid for the cup itself, my frugality held me back. But I decided this was the better choice than spills & the slide tab lids that can get residue and have hard to clean crevices or the ones that flip up but you bump your nose when you want to drink from it. It holds my hot coffee awesomely! Theres a tab the covers the small air hole to keep in all the liquid. It fits perfect on my Ozark trail and I even walked quite a few blocks with it, coffee filled but wasn't steaming hot, in my purse...it was laying horizontally...no spills! Just make sure that you don't put the stopper in before the air inside acclimates if your beverage is hot because it can build up pressure from the heat. I like it so much I may just buy the other 30 oz cup & get the "Stop It" for that too!

It seems like it'll be pretty hard to destroy this thing. It works great and it's easy to use, so I'm happy. I tried hard but my YETI tumbler simply would not leak with this thing on it. Testing it was fun. I filled the tumbler halfway with water, fastened the STOP IT, stood in the bathtub, and did everything from holding the cup upside down to shaking it to waving it around like a hammer-wielding maniac. Not a drop leaked out. I work in a metal shop and on construction sites (I am, in fact, a professional hammer-wielding maniac). Everything you bring has to be tough, right down to your mug. It's nice that my coffee won't get all over everything, especially when I'm driving on rough ground and the tumbler is bouncing up and down in my truck's cupholder. This company has fantastic customer service. They'll take care of you. George returned my messages really quickly and directly mailed me the correct color himself free of charge after Amazon sent me the wrong color from their warehouse two separate times (and I got a refund from them each time).

UPDATE: Company reached out to me personally and gave guidance on using this with hot liquids (the Burp-It method). While I still don't feel confident this would stop my Yeti from leaking completely, I can certainly use this lid to stop most leaks. Upgrading to 4 stars because of the VERY excellent customer service - wouldn't be surprised if an updated design was introduced later down the line for hot beverages. Original review - Not sure why this gets so many positive reviews, or if mine was a dud, but my Yeti still definitely leaks every time I put this on and it's tipped sideways with fresh coffee inside. I noticed it leaks through the vent hole, so maybe the suction on the lid there isn't as good? Tossing this out and going back to my MagSlider until I find a better alternative.

Disappointed in this product. With all of the 4 and 5 star reviews on this product, I was excited to give it a try. After installing it on my Yeti 20 oz, I found that it works ok with water in it. However, the second you put a hot item in there, such as coffee or tea, the seal is gone. The lid does not want to stay closed and the rubber stop does nothing. I tried it on 3 different Yetis and all of them had the same end result. Would not recommend. I will be tossing this one and continuing my search for another product.

Not a great fit for RTIC tumblers! The cutout is shaped differently so it does doesn't prevent leaks. It's also too tall for use with the RTIC handle on the 30oz tumbler. With the handle in place, the STOP IT is forced up above the rim of the cup, making it difficult to put the lid on securely. I like the idea so I might look for a lid with an oval shaped opening and trim the top edge down a bit to see if I can make it work for my cup but I think my husband will just end up removing his and STOP using IT. Update: I bought Yeti lids for our 20oz and 30 oz RTIC tumblers and the Stop It does a much better job preventing leaks. If the lid is not put on straight in line with the Stop It, the air hole may not be covered properly and minor leaks occur but as long as I make sure the lid and Stop It are aligned, it does an excellent job preventing leaks.

Love the Stop It! Does exactly what it says: prevents liquid from spilling out of your tumbler. My husband has a Yeti and I have an Ozark Trail (both 20 oz size cups) and the Stop It fits perfectly on both models. I'm constantly carrying multitudes of items to and from the car and have twice (before now) spilled water all over the things I was carrying. I searched for a no spill lid and came across the Stop It and I'm sooooo glad that I did! When I turn my cup upside down the Stop It stays perfectly in place and does not let one drop out. I also shook my cup (while holding it upside down) and still, no leakage. Very impressed! :) I highly recommend this item to anyone looking for a way to prevent water from leaking out of their tumbler.
