One panel puts out ever so slightly higher current while the other puts out ever so slightly more voltage. So mathematically, they're nearly identical in terms of wattage output.My old 100 wat solar panels measure 26.4" x 40.25" and this new PowerECO panel measures 19.5" x 42.25". So in terms of square inches, my old solar panels took 1062.6 square inches to put out the same amount of power that this PowerECO panel puts out with only 823.9 square inches. That's almost a 25% size reduction for the same amount of power. So you could fit a 500 watt array in the same amount of mounted space as a 400 watt array with these panels. And so on as you scale upward. Usually, larger panels are more efficient in terms of wattage put out vs how much space the panel occupies. These 100 watt panels approach the larger panels in terms of real estate vs power output.So long story short, you get a lot out of a very moderately sized panel. If you have an existing array that uses 100 watt panels and it's time to change them out for new, or if you're looking to build a smaller array or even a portable setup, this panel has fantastic output for the size. And the cost is on par with the less size efficient panels. I mounted this on top of my trailer and it worked fine for a while now. Comparing to another similar one that cost more, the construction and efficiency of this is fairly comparable. I do see some wear on it when setting this up and exposing it to the element 24/7/365, but it is what it is, as long as it continue to work and not just die on me, I call it good.Thank you for reading this review, I hoped that this review is helpful to you in support of your purchase decision. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Good panel for small projects *by R***G on Reviewed in the United States on March 9, 2021* I wanted to power my patio lights and garden lights from a solar project. So, when this became available, I ordered it. Here is what i found:1. This is a decent panel that produces between 300 and 500 watt hours of energy on good days. if it is cloudy and rainy, figure about half that amount. The problem is that in order to produce what the panel is capable of, you need to track the sun and maintain the angle of incidence for max production.2. This easily connected to my charge controller, deep cycle battery, low voltage photo cell and lights. Since my yard lights draw only 12 Watts and my patio lights draw 4 when on, the system is able to maintain the lighting without problems. My system is on about 12 hours a day and if you calculated it with the patio lights on all the time, the system consumes about 200 watt hours of power and most of the time the solar panel returns more than that. On very bad days the system almost returns enough power, but when it is that bad, I am not on the patio and so that eliminates 40 watt hours of power and puts the system back in the range of what the panels can supply. My deep cycle battery is capable of supplying power for several days without any charge, so the system is good to go!!3.
