Best porch/deck paint I have ever used.
I would give this paint six(6) stars if i could. This is the Best adhering porch paint I have ever used. I’ve had problems with other top brands peeling quickly. This paint is very thick and easy to apply with either a brush or roller. Will purchase in a heartbeat again if need arises. Prices very fairly for the quality finish you get.

Great Coverage
Paint appears to thick upon first looks but it spreads smooth with great coverage and crack filling ability. The smooth finish has just enough grit to prevent slipping when feet are wet, and to provide a strong bond to wood.

Much cheaper than Lowe’s…
I think for the price, this stuff is great. My concrete looked terrible from years of stains and discolouration. Since there was no cracks, I decided just to cover it up. It made the chips look better, though you will need several coats to smooth it out to an acceptable amount. Only been a couple of weeks, but it adheres pretty will and dries fairly quickly. All I will say is that it looks more grey in photos but in real-life, there is a slight blue tinge to it. I recommend a respirator, as the scent will give you a headache. Only wish I took before photos!

Like it, so far
4.6 it covers easily but needed 2 heavy coats. We were covering a patio previously painted. No cracks or stains. It's thick but not so thick. We used paint brush and roller. It's battleship Grey color. We don't know how long lasting it is bc we just applied. Dries pretty quickly. It's not cheap but cheaper than carpeting.

Very thick product! It has sand in it for texture!
This paint is great! It fills in cracks ! I sanded and prepped my surface like it said to do! I used a roller brush for first coat ! I had to buy another can of it for 2nd coat ! I used a deck stain brush for this coat ! I ran out of paint to cover entire porch! This goes on thick and you need to work it in the cracks with the brush! I am very pleased with product ! Coverage per can will vary how you put it on ! Brush or roller! I am very happy with how it looks!

Perfect for 100 yo Cement Stoop on Chicago Bungalow
Finding a good paint to use on my 100 year old stoop is not easy. I needed a product to cover cement patches and a history of other paint. Plus, this is Chicago, so paint that would be durable for winter, salt, and not slippery was not only necessary, it's vital. I was apprehensive about buying paint that might get ruined in transit through damage or whatnot, but I took my chances. The packaging was terrific and the can arrived safe and sound. The thickness of this product is like a mirror glaze you would put on a cake, which is perfect to cover up the uneven surfaces and cracks I wanted to cover. I used a medium putty knife to scoop out the paint and a 3 inch paint brush to spread it. Super easy and effective. The directions call for over 40 degrees and two coats. Well, my stoop is 8 stairs with a landing by the front door. Between my needs and the can, I did not have enough to cover the stair kicks, but I did do the treads. The second can is on its way here now. It dried overnight. We haven't had rain or snow for a few days and it's been unseasonably warm, so I was able to tackle this now. I'm very pleased!

It CAN be THINNED, but Carefully...It's Acrylic Resin, and Kilz Acrylic Resin Paints CAN be thinned.
If you'd like to thin this product, As I did, for an INTERIOR Wood Shop Floor, you CAN,... add NO MORE than 8 OZ of H20 to a GALLON....Add it slowly, 2 Oz at a time, while stirring, Keep this product warm before applying...it is like applying Cake Icing, Quite Thick...Stir with a drill and paint paddle, SECURE the Can !!! this stuff is SO Thick, the can will spin !! When Thinned and Stirred for a LONG time, while warm, it applies quite well, Very Durable on my INTERIOR Wood Shop Floor...was able to do 1 Coat, (Kilz Recommends 2) and it went down easily, and is beautiful and Durable, I drag wood, tools,Chairs, and sweep regularly. Spills don't soak in either, including other H20 based paints I've spilled. I Would NOT attempt spraying this product...I used a moistened (H20) 3/8" nap roller and a 3" Brush. Slate Grey was a good looking color...It has stood up to Work Boots and Snowy,Wet/Sandy messes with the NOT recommended Single Coat ! (New,OSB,3/4" Plywood Flooring) Very Happy !! Get it !!!

Tricky to Apply but Seems Durable
I concur with many other reviewers that this is a good product, but it's very tricky to apply. You need it to be the right temperature. Not too hot, not too cold. I was using it over an old coating on my concrete balcony, that was peeling and flaking away. I scrubbed off as much of the old as I could (I could not use a pressure washer since I was in a condo), which was not everything but all the loose stuff. I did half the balcony in the morning (this part is always in the shade). It spread easy and went on fairly uniformly (but yes you can see the brush strokes). The did the second half in the afternoon. The balcony was in the sun and the surface was hot. This did not work well. The mixture clumped up, started to dry too fast, and I could not get it spread evenly. It was a clumpy mess. I tried to scrape some off before it dried all the way. I put an extra thick second coat over it the next day to try and even it out. It looks ok but not great. A month later, in the areas where I applied it in the sun, it is bubbling in several spots, but it's not tearing. It seems durable. The area I applied in the shade is looking good, no bubbles. The brush strokes are less noticeable with all my planters and chairs, back on the balcony. I'm seeing not issues on the shady half. We'll see how it holds up.
