They claim 75 to 100 minutes but it's not even close to their specs. Remember that unless you have only a handful of acorns I'd pass on battery blowers to do anything beyond 15 minutes. **Q: How can i ensure ego products purchased on amazon are covered by ego’s warranty?** A: Be careful buying Ego products from Amazon (I don’t recommend it). We bought an Ego battery in Dec 2020 on Amazon and now that we have a warranty issue, Ego refused to honor the warranty - even though they agree that the battery is dead - because they say the party we purchased from on Amazon was not authorized. I am out $250. Tread carefully. **Q: how long does it take to charge the battery?** A: The battery charges continuously and will display its level of recharge as 5 blinking segments of a circle. The battery will charge from dead to 100% in approx 1/2 hr…but for recharging e.g., to just finish a job that wasn’t quite completed, you need not wait a half hour — the battery reaches full functionality much quicker— so you might charge for 10-15 mins (equivalent of 2 or 3 of the 5 segments displayed), finish the job (at full power), then put it back on the charger afterward to fully recharge. **Q: Does the battery charger make noise when your charging the battery, mine is making a noise like there's a fan built in?** A: Mine "buzzes" as it charges. You don't use it a whole lot, though it is quite handy. You can knock all the excess grass clippings away after yard trimming in no time. And to my surprise after finally popping the money for one, it's actually fun! Especially now that I don't spend 15 minutes sweeping and bagging those clippings anymore. Really, tool people, get you a leaf blower. It's not going to be your most used tool, but you'll appreciate it. Ok, I've already got an EGO yard trimmer and an EGO hedge trimmer which you would do well to find a way to try out somehow. They are really powerful and no more fuss and muss with extension cords or mixing gas. You pop the battery in and you go to work. They are fantastic! So I got the leaf blower with the battery and charger, no good reason for that other than you save money on those by getting the package. That way I have an extra because the batteries are indeed, interchangeable with all the EGO tools accept the chainsaw. KNOW that if this is your FIRST EGO tool, you WILL need to purchase the one with the battery and charger. But if you have another EGO tool with the battery and/or charger, you can can save a considerable amount of money by just getting the blower. Now I got this one, which is 3 steps up from the entry level, simply because it was on sale at the time and the same price as the entry level one. I believe I'm glad I did. It really blows powerfully. And that's what's fun about it, if only for a couple of minutes. I believe it's totally safe though. My boys (adult) get a little stupid with it blowing their mouths all wild and open and for tick-tock and such. God favors the silly, but I put safety goggles on them and you may be wise to consider that when legiteamately using all EGO tools too. Like I said, they are powerful. Now a little about EGO batteries. The replacements are pricey, which I think is what detours people away from EGO. But know that they last a very LONG time. I got my EGO string trimmer with my first battery about 5 years ago and I regularly trim 3 big yards. It is just now beginning to loose charge time. And the chargers will last forever so you really only need one, which can save you some money too. I did get another charger and battery with the hedge trimmer package though, which again, saved me some cash by buying the package. This way I can always have a fully charged backup or two, which I sometimes need. Expect about 2 hours of charge for the lawn trimmer, 3 or 4 for the hedge trimmer, and I think the blower will hold charge forever. So, I'm an EGO fan and thinking about getting the chainsaw maybe if my gas powered one ever goes out. I hear it is very powerful too. The lawnmower is just too pricey for me at this point and I mow a lot of grass to be using an electric mower, but who knows? Now, I wouldn't consider this for professional lawn care. You guys would need like 20 batteries to get through the day with these. This is purely for landlords and personal yard work.
