Soothing Tea with Good Results
I liked this tea because of the research I compiled from Edgar Cayce library and Saffron Tea was recommended in one of his readings for psoriasis and digestive disorders. I have managed to control the phlegm in my throat by drinking a cup each day with some honey. Is very effective.

Smells like paprika but the flavor is very subtle
5 Saffron Tea I’m using this tea in conjunction with an alkalizing whole food plant based diet to eliminate psoriasis. I love the smell. It reminds me of paprika, and that comes subtly through in the flavor as well. It’s a pleasant tasting tea that I begin and end the day with. The tea strands feel silky, rather than dry, and those that manage to sneak through my tea strainer, remain in my tea. They’re not bitter like some tea leaves, so getting a few “escapees” doesn’t bother me. I don’t know how long people drink this tea for treatment, and although I don’t mind the taste, I don’t see myself buying it on an on-going basis.

Mix with Stash chai tea
Received overnight. I use saffron in conjunction with my chai tea for respiratory issues. It has very little taste on it's own and didn't alter the taste of my tea. I have had a cup the previous 3 nights and have rested better, It might be my imagination or coincidence, but I didn't have to take a histamine{Zyrtec}} to be able to breathe lying down. I used a teaspoon each of saffron, chai tea and honey in an 8 ounce hot water and strained , when pouring into cup.

Poor Quality
As another reviewer mentioned, I found long black hair in my unopened package as well as some string (so disgusting). Who knows what else is in it that I couldn’t see. It’s not a returnable item but I did request and receive a refund. Purchase at your own risk.
