Installed on a modern headstock
Bought these as i felt the price is good enough for locking tuners. Then realized since these are vintage design (looks better than modern though), I had to drill my headstock and buy some additional adapters to fit them in. But once installed its working far better than my stock tuners. Note that even with locking tuners, the guitar will go out of tune but will keep it in tune much longer.

Dropped In Nicely, Seem to be Good Quality
These dropped right into the neck for my Jaguar. I was waiting on a set of Gotoh/Fender Vintage locking tuners that had a delivery date that kept getting pushed back, and I just wanted something with lockers to tide me over and get everything back together. I wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. The bushings went in without too much drama, I gently used a small c-clamp to press them in evenly. The tuners all lock and turn nicely, they seem to stay in tune, and they look great. Installing the units to the neck was a cinch as everything lined up perfectly, and the screws all went in nicely. I'm not sure the Gotoh tuners would be that much of an upgrade, at more than twice the price. I'm not in any hurry to replace these, that's for sure. It's nice having the lock on a knob too, it makes string switches a breeze, and no more fussing with multiple string wraps around the peg. Stick the string in fairly taunt, clamp it, and then turn it until its in tune. Makes me wonder why I've not gone to this style years ago.

Locktuners
Verry good tuners.

Nice but fiddly to install.
The first locking tuners I've ever had. Seems easy enough to use and look nice. They are off course a lot chunkier than a standard tuner but not too bad. If I bought some again, I'd probably get a different style because these traditional style are a bit fiddly to line up when installing. You need a VERY narrow small screwdriver to get between the covers (I realised later that I could have completely unscrewed the locking wheel to give more space!) and will need to pre drill perfectly to avoid snapping screws. Make sure you measure the headstock holes diameters! I didn't. On my Squier "Tattycaster" I think the holes had been reamed out for a wider tuner in the past, so I had to get some other parts to make them fit.
