Then I tried it in my cordless vacuum. Worked fine. Took it out. The a few weeks later I put it in my cordless saw. The saw worked fine but the battery lost power relatively quickly so I went to remove it to charge it back up.... it would not come off the tool using the proper method. I had to pry it off using a screwdriver and nearly damaged my saw. I cannot recommend this battery due to this design flaw. ### ⭐⭐⭐ DeWalt Batteries *by R***L on Reviewed in the United States on September 13, 2009* The 18v DeWalt drill is solidly built, but the batteries do not last very long. I have purchased 3 or 4 replacement battery sets, including Top Cell, but they didn't even last as long as the original DeWalts. Two DeWalt branded batteries at Home Depot cost more than a new drill ($90 each) so repalcement DeWalt batteries are just a big rip off. If you open up any 18 v battery you will find that it is just made of 15 "C" cells which are only worth a couple of bucks each. Save your money and buy a new drill with Lithium Ion batteries. Incidentally, I also have a 12 V Makita drill and the Makita batteries last 3 or 4 times longer than DeWalt or Top Cell. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I like this battery *by U***E on Reviewed in the United States on November 5, 2006* Guys, I am hard on cordless tools. I have Dewalt and Milwaukee brands. I am using topcell on both. I don't intend to pay double for replacement batteries ever again. Several of my friends have ordered topcell.
