Take apart or just squirt in front?** A: Use f100s and spray it in openings in the pot body while rotating the knob back and forth several times, then test for noise. Repeat the process for persistently noisy pots. You can clean the pot first with good electronic contact cleaner spray before using f100s, worked in most cases. **Q: Is it quick drying?** A: I haven't checked how long it takes to dry up (and if it ever does), but since it is oil based and is not a dry lubricant, you would have an oil film after the initial de-oxidation step which occurs immediately as you apply it. One thing I did not like it for is cleaning pots. The residue does not evaporate so it caused issues with my pots. But I have other rapid evaporating cleaners for that. One thing to note is that - it looks like the bottle is small. But, it's surprisingly gone a really long way.
