The band is decent. Not as thick, or sturdy as similar NATO watch bands. However, it is comfortable, looks good, and feels strong enough to do it's job. Time will tell. It is not a large, or long, band. I have an average men's wrist and I need to use the third hole in the band to secure the strap . The nylon strap end holder is wide and is fixed (not moveable). I find that the holder will work to hold the strap end secure even if I use the last hole in the strap. I like that this band does not have the multi metal rings that some other NATO bands have. There is only one metal ring to thread and hold the strap around the watch itself. I did not find any frayed ends or loose threads on the band which to me indicates at least there was some quality control in place. Since others have posted photos of the full strap, I will add a few photos of the strap in use. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality alternative to traditional NATO *by R***S on May 11, 2016* Excellent alternative to a traditional NATO strap. There are fewer metal rings, making it light-weight and comfortable. Some straps remain rigid and stiff. This one is more flexible and form fitting, yet maintains a respectable quality and thickness. The thickness posed no problem in threading around spring bars. This came with a spring bar tool and two pairs of spring pins. Wow! Price was justified for these materials alone. I toss many straps that I deem unworthy of my watch collection. This made it on a watch immediately. My favorite thing is that the buckle sits perfectly opposite the watch in the inside of my wrist, rather than on the side of my wrist which causes a bulk of excess fabric. Some people like that.
